    They 100% still got it. Chad is like a metronome, Anthony doesn't mess up a single syllable, Flea plays with nothing held back, and John is perfect as always. Age hasn't slowed them a bit.

      I'm just so thankful that things turned out this way. So many other reunions ended up being complete duds, even with all original or popular members being present. However, our boys sound amazing. This also proves that they're not merely trying to cash in on nostalgia. They're 100% serious about this.

    As human beings we watch all the things we like disappear as we get older. There's something so comforting about seeing Flea play bass and jump around. It's a thing you remember from being a kid and here it is, still the same. That guy makes me happy. Frusciante is on fire too.

    Anthony has one of the most beautiful natural voice color, sometimes the tecnique is bad but the color of his voice is UNIQUE

    I’m just so freakin’ glad that John Frusciante is back. I had nothing against Josh Klinghoffer, but John is… well, just that. His Jimi Hendrix/James Brown influence defines the RHCP’s sound.

      I’ll never get the nothing against josh thing.... he wasn’t a good fit for the band. Those two albums are pretty bad. Doesn’t mean he’s a bad guitarist just wasn’t a good fit. Had he been there at the start they may have never been where they are now. Just facts.

      I like the way John is really reserved compared to the other 3 but the band just absorbs it. They dont try to change the guy. Everyone is themselves in rhcp. A really raw and genuine band for sure. I hope John stays till they retire.

      Me too. Nothing against Klinghoffer but his spastic moves onstage were annoying as fuck after a while. He looked like he was having convulsions.

    The mark of a great band- how they sound live. No auto-tune, no recorded playback, just pure, real artistry. One of the reasons I love NYC jazz clubs; you can't fake it.

      there is definitely a little auto tune on the vocals... but that's fine, everyone does that these days. Sorry to ruin it for you ;) They do play and sound awesome though. Can't wait to see them in two months

    Watching them perform their classic songs live, it strikes you how purely the songs were recorded. Hardly any overdubs or excessive effects. Just the sound of four guys in synch with each other, in love with what they do, and having it perfectly captured by a team of respectful technicians.

    You could have played this for me audibly, hell, even showed it to me and told me it was from 30 years ago (sans the high def) and I would have completely believed you. I literally can't think of any band remotely close to their age group or even in general with their incredible energy. HoF band for a reason.

    Holy crap. Where to begin.
    Chad, Flea, and Anthony all doing these awesome flourishes that breathe new life into this song. And that jazzy section before the end!
    And then of course there’s John being back and on fire. Incredible.
    These guys just look like they’re having be time off their lives. Who would’ve thought this song is over 30 years old.
    They’re truly bothers. I’m happy they’re all back together.
