The best part was towards the end when you showed the room renovation, the cabinet making and then the beautiful painting. It's that triple combination that makes you unique from all of the other CZcamsrs. Awesome job brother, don't ever change!
+Home and Shop TV thanks man! I really appreciate it
I’m really excited to include free professional plans with this project, click the link to download the PDF file.

Jon Peters Art & Home Buena explicacion MI siguiente proyecto
Hey Jon. I always wanted to build something. Thanks to this video I managed to do my first cabinet. Had to do a few changes to make it work for me. Really enjoyed the learning process and to see the final product take life. Thanks a lot!
I just keep learning so much from you! You are a true Craftsman and I really appreciate you're detailed work and narration of the build. WOW such amazing craftsmanship! Thanks JP!
This was awesome to watch. I’d love to get into furniture building but I never can decide what to use. The birch plywood with the beautiful trim looks fantastic!
Wow that turned out amazing! I'm a big fan of mounting my TVs on walls with swiveling and articulating mounts. This seriously makes me want to build one for the bedroom and watch it go up and down.
I build stuff from your simple plans for a while and never had a problem (not a pro here). It's nice to see a very detailed set of plans from you but keep in mind your videos are the reason why it's so simple to follow your hand drawn plans, so keep up the good work John and thanks for sharing knowledge with the community!
+Cicero Monteiro will do, thanks for the comment
I really appreciate the fact that when you pull out a less than common tool such as that self centering bit, you take the time to not only explain what it does but you provide it proper name making it easier for anyone interested to go our and pick one up. Little things like that really make for great how-to video. I really enjoy them. On a side not. This channel reminds me a lot "Old Yankee Workshop" with Norm Abrams. A lot of style similarities.
I kept going back to take in some of the details. I love this design, but I especially loved the approach, and sequence of building the cabinet .You really made this look easy, and I know it’s really not that easy for us civilians lol. Thank you John!
Love your style Jon, clean and warm are the two words that come to mind. And not easy to pull that off.
+zidek50 Thank you
As always, you make it look so easy. The room is really lovely. You've inspired me to start work on my guest room, which is fine, but could be much more inviting. I love the winter painting, too.
+TheCMLion fantastic, Thank you! Good luck with the project
Awesome craftsmanship Jon
+dfw crown Thanks!
Ugh...I downloaded the plans...cut everything based on your cut list, you have AG (rear trim) as 30 1/2, so I cut it that way. I put it together and now the rear panel trim doesn’t match. On the cut list AG IS 30 1/2 and on the build plans it’s 30 1/4. Now I’m off a 1/4 inch. You should update the plans so no one else has the same problem...
Your work is amazing. I would love to have a cabinet like that! Thank you for sharing.
I WATCH EVERY VIDEO JON. YOU ARE EXCELLENT AS A TEACHER AND THEE CRAFTSMAN. THANKS FOR SHARING,
Hey Jon, don't be too hard on your plans. They contain the essential information for the project (especially in concert with your videos) and I imagine they take a lot less time to prepare and publish. I like both kinds of plans. :-)
Yes definitely do plans! You make beautiful things that would be a fun challenge to make! Some are even very simple with your techniques and tools you use. Great video. Always great content👍🏼
+Michael Lippert Thanks Michael
It never gets old watching you creating stuff..... great work!
+Gianluca Moretti thanks!
Excellent video. Beautiful cabinet. Thank you for sharing your expertise.
Excellent video and project! I love how it looks.

New to your channel. This is the most beautiful piece of furniture that I have seen made. Amazing work!
Your work has always been an inspiration to me, very careful to the last detail.
Beautiful piece of furniture! Good job! Thanks for sharing!
Wow that turned out beautiful! However, I am most impressed with that winter painting you painted! You are very talented!!
Your trim work is impeccable.
+Michael Gomez Thanks Michael
What a beautiful piece, Jon. 👌🏼
Great cabinetry and very well done video. Thank you.
Project looks great. Like how the room is coming together. Painting really works with the overall look.

Beautiful work, Jon.
+Jim Chamberlin Thanks Jim
I really like that cabinet, and the video is a perfect how to, Jon. I see that build with the Touchstone in my near future.
+Steve Collins Cool! Thanks Steve!
BEAUTIFUL! Fantastic job.
This is the first time seeing you work. I am really impressed. I love the idea of the drop down tv. I am going to build a new dresser for my bedroom and I am definitely going to add a whisper lift into the inside of the dresser with 8 drawers in the front a false back for a extra space for the lift.but what impressed me the most was the simplicity of your plans and build. It would put IKEA to shame.
I had to come back and watch it again, I love this one so much. I’m realizing I paid so much attention to the build, that I spelled your name wrong
…thank you Jon! Fact is I’m new to this, and I’ve watched at least dozens of cabinet build vids, and have learned that there are many different approaches. I set up my small wood shop during this pandemic, and have enjoyed learning from many CZcams guys like you. I have built lots of small things and made lots of mistakes, but I’m getting ready to build my first cabinet. This build is my favorite cabinet of them all.
Thanks Patrick! That’s really great to hear. Have a great day, Jon
Great video ,
Clean, detailed, get down to the point.
Overall great video
Bravo, semplicemente perfetto!
+Giorgio DIYS Thanks!
Once again fantastic attention to detail.
That is bad ass. Very beautiful. Nice work. Thank you.
One of the best if not the best !
I like your plans. Simple, easy to follow. Very straight forward.
+Katherine Carroll Thanks!
Great project! And so many applications!
great finish, thanks for the video
As usual, super clean and beautiful TV Lift Cabinet Jon. If I remember correctly, a year ago you built a similar Cabinet as well, that was beautiful too. :)
+Janmajit Shankar thank you
That's beautiful!
Looks awesome Jon! ... I used MDF for the rails and stiles on that trash/recycling center I made...... The TV lift cabinet is definitely something I'd like to make once I finally (eventually) setup a dedicated shop space in my basement.
+Fred McIntyre thanks Fred, fun project and always cool to see th tv pop out.
Job well done, looks very nice. Those plans look awesome too, plans always make a project much easier. Good detailed plans like that take all the guess work out
+RB216220 Thanks, appreciate it!
Jon this is why I subscribed to your channel I love the furniture videos .
Please make more of them
+Dave Curda thanks David! I have a few coming up
Thank you so much.. great video and very well explained
Nice work! I prefer to show off my big smart tv together with a beautiful sound system.
Another great project Jon.
+David Bishop Thanks David!
Fairly simple construction but excellent outcome as usual Jon
Great work Jon
Amazing work
Work so smooth 👍
Great looking cabinet. I would love to consider something like that for a tiny house of sorts. Thanks again,
+Tom Pritchard Thanks Tom, yeah perfect for a small room
This is the best demonstration
Really nice build. I enjoy all your builds.
Thank you for sharing videos. I just found you and I think your pieces look easy enough to build and just look sharp!
Thanks wonderful video, great explanation nice of you to share.
Jon, Another great video.......Luv your honest approach......noteworthy the plan remark...a little humorous.......Take Care Bro.......
+Jimmy Kuros Thanks Jimmy! Appreciate it man
What an incredible piece of work! I really want an end of the bed TV lift. I don't have all the equipment though - nor the talent. If only there was a basic DIY kit to buy. I just need a basic cabinet - nothing quite so fancy, just a basic box that I could stain.
I Love it!
Spectacular job !
+Jacin Droid thank you
Great job!
If I make one I will paint the underside of the lid top black. Well done 👍.
Stunning jon hopefully when I get a shed big enough il definitely have a go at this one
+Richard Williams Cool! Thanks Richard
Jon l,m loving it keep it up

Nicely done as always!
+Chem Cody Thanks Chen!
A true craftsman....
I was just watching the old version. Gona try it!
+N Klomphaar cool!
Amazing!
Very nice! Let's see some more views of that room you created!
+Mark Sullivan thanks will do, still need to make one or two more pieces for the room.
Very nice. Only 2 things; I would have made the top flush to the cabinet because it looks strange when open and would have painted/veneered the back as well for the same reason.
Awesome greetings from Arizona
parabéns por este belo trabalho!!!
+Fabio marques de toledo Thanks!
Inspiring!
Looks amazing.
+Clair B. Thanks Clair
This guy is very professional
My wife likes the green in poplar wood. I use jacobean stain and it comes out dark with green tone.
Very nice!!
Looks great man! You're the tv lift master lol.
+Matt Lane Thanks Matt!
It’s beautiful! I want one and I have been looking around online for it. It’s very expensive though. I was thinking hmmm maybe I can build one by myself. After I watched your video, I don’t think I am that brave. Lol
This Amazing
That was outstanding.. I can hardly find the time to complete all the projects I'd like to do with my 140 year old home. I have a sandstone fireplace on a 16 foot cathedral end wall that I'd love an idea on how to finish with cabinets. The fireplace is just under 10 foot wide and 9 tall. I've been wrestling with ideas for a while but as of yet??? Thanks for all your great work .
Looks GREAT Jon. However, I think an added storage section below to hold a sound bar, cable box and perhaps DVR would make a nice addition. Wouldn't take away from the design, but if I want this in a living room there are some other goodies these days needed to make it more functional. One more project to add to my ever expanding "list."
Parabens, seus projetos são nota 10!!
+Jorge Adelino Thanks!
very good video very well done but for me probably i can use the top surface making part of the lift and use example: pics on top or other staff and lifted the top to
Bravo nice job
I'm Soo gonna try this project
+rtmcify Cool!
Nice.l love it.
Cool, that vid is awesome
