    LUMBER LIST
    Headboard
    • (4) 2” x 6” x 8’ (Douglas fir lumber) ripped to 4” for the left and right legs.
    • (4) 2” x 6” x 8’ (Douglas fir lumber) ripped to 5” for the top, bottom and side frames.
    • (1) 4’ x 8’ x ¾” (Sanded plywood) Sanded Plywood has only one finished side, make sure to use the nice side towards the front.
    • (2) 1” x 4” x 8’ (White furring strip) this is for the design within the headboard.
    Side Rails
    • (4) 2” x 4” x 8’ (Douglas fir lumber) ripped to 2 ½”
    • (4) 2” x 6” x 8’ (Douglas fir lumber) ripped to 4 ½”
    • (1) 4” x 8’ x ¾” (Hardwood plywood). Hardwood plywood is sturdier.
    Footboard
You should be able to use some of the scrap plywood from the side rails for the base, the lip around the opening of the footboard and the right and left side walls of the footboard.
    • (3) 4’ x 8’ x ¾” (Hardwood plywood) these will be used for the front wall, left and right side panels, back strip and back cover of the footboard.
    • (2) 2” x 6” x 8’ (Douglas fir lumber) ripped to 4” for the left and right legs.
    • (1) 5mm 4’ x 8’ sheet of plywood. This will be used for all of the decorative trim on the footboard.
    • (1) 2” x 10” x 8’ (Douglas fir lumber). This will be used for both the mantle top and side mantle pieces.
    The mantle top is 61 ½” x 7 ¾” x 1” and the mantle side pieces are 13 ½” x 4” x 1”. I planed the 2” x 10” x 8’ (Douglas fir lumber) down to 1” using a planer.
    Total Lumber List
    (1) Sanded plywood (4’ x 8’ x ¾”)
    (4) Harwood plywood (4’ x 8’ x ¾”)
    (1) 5mm plywood sheet (4’ x 8’)
    (1) Douglas fir lumber (2” x 10” x 8’)
    (14) Douglas fir lumber (2” x 6” x 8’)
    (4) Douglas fir lumber (2” x 4” x 8’)
    (2) White furring strip (1” x 4” x 8’)

Amazing job my friend! We are finally getting a bigger house that will have a true master bedroom that’s big enough for more than the queen we’ve been on for the last 17 years. I don’t think we will want a tv that pops up but I can think of other things that I would want hidden out of sight yet readily accessible that would fit nicely in that spot. Thank you for the awesome video and how to guide.

There's no way you only have ~300 subscribers.
Your videos are amazing. The measurements and diagrams are something most other builders on CZcams don't overlay in their videos. Your craftsmanship is impressive.
As someone who has worked at a company building highend one-off custom furniture and cabinetry for literal billionaires; your builds are nearly on par.
I would have done a few things differently but the end result would be essentially the same.
Love what you're doing; keep it up! I'd love to see your channel grow!

I've been watching a lot of videos on hideaway TV cabinets/lifts and this is one of (if not THE) best! TY for making it! I'm hoping to make a foot of the bed cabinet with an integrated dog ramp (morkies) on the bed side and a place for a soundbar.

Bro that's an awesome bed. I love it. My only issue is I'm so tall my legs are always stuck into footboard. I'd have to make it a little longer to keep my legs off the TV stand.
