    Amazing job my friend! We are finally getting a bigger house that will have a true master bedroom that’s big enough for more than the queen we’ve been on for the last 17 years. I don’t think we will want a tv that pops up but I can think of other things that I would want hidden out of sight yet readily accessible that would fit nicely in that spot. Thank you for the awesome video and how to guide.

  • @gabieturnerelzy1677

    I see the links in the description, but I’m wondering exactly what you bought, like single door or double door hardware?

    • @thatguywithahammer137
      @thatguywithahammer137 Před rokem

      I used single door hardware since I knew the doors would not be crossing over each other.

      @spierce2424 Před rokem

      Sorry, just want to add a little bit more to my response. I believe, I bought a 10 foot single door hardware kit and since I did not like the wheels I ended up buying two pairs of T shaped wheels. I hope this answered your question If not please feel free to keep the conversation going.

    Amazing job dude! I love the arabesque style of tiles, hoping to do them in our new kitchen, though want to see if I can find a set of different hues and do some "mosaic" style texture with them. Also, one thing I've heard is that you shouldn't use your finger to smooth the caulking, as it leaves bacteria/etc in the silicone, which grows in there. That said, no idea if that's true or just a myth!

    You did a terrific job. Very meticulous. Learnt to do the corners with you. We bought our arabesque tiles at home depot. We went with ones with the whitish hue. Our cabinets are morning dew. And the tiles reflect the hue from the cabinets and the countertop. Great job.

    Nice video, great production value on showing the cuts and measurements...My only recommendation for this piece (and future pieces) would be to look at what side your pockets holes will be on. I would have flipped the back panels so the pocket screw holes are on the outside, this would hide the holes themselves.

  • @CraigMihalko
    @CraigMihalko Před rokem

    Thank you for the video it just helped confirm what I was thinking of doing for the edges, once they are ripped you have a non-stained edge so the 3/4" rip is a great idea and I like the way you added them. Being I'm doing a bypass 2 track, I may even run those boards longer than 3/4" on the middle side of each panel so they catch each other when closed and hide the gap between the panels when hung. I'm using the Ghost wood shiplap from HD and they only have the shiplap and 1 x 4 available in the color, I want to try and avoid having to color anything. I think the only thing I'm going to have to do is use 2 -1 x 4' s at the top and bottom stacked due the straps I'm using for the wheels on the hardware being longer than a 1 x 4. I will also have to have a groove in the bottom edge of the panel to ride on a floor guide. Maybe I missed it, But I never saw you check the boards for square, did you have any issues with that?. Also I think being that the back is rough and not finished anyway, I would run some screws through there to make sure it is solid. I wasn't critiquing you, just adding my thoughts on what I am going to do a little different. I'm doing a bypass 2 track for a storage area on a wall that is covered in the Ghost Wood to give it that old barn look in Basement Bar

Your craftsmanship is impressive. As someone who has worked at a company building highend one-off custom furniture and cabinetry for literal billionaires; your builds are nearly on par.
