The trowel I used was a 1/4 in. x 3/16 in V-Notch trowel and to put the covers back onto the outlets I used an electrical box extender. You did a terrific job. Very meticulous. Learnt to do the corners with you. We bought our arabesque tiles at home depot. We went with ones with the whitish hue. Our cabinets are morning dew. And the tiles reflect the hue from the cabinets and the countertop. Great job.
I have been procrastinating on putting up our Arabesque tile from Home Depot for about a yr now. its justing sitting in the office. I also have been watching a lot of how to videos on to install. I find this video to be the #1 how to's and it's giving me the want to get it done and "I Can Do This" attitude lol. Thank you sir! and I Love the scripture on that video. Our Father does comfort us! Glory to our Father
Lol I love it!… thank you so much for the kind words, I really appreciate it. I hope everything goes well with your tile installation. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask, I’ll do my best to answer. And yes all glory to God our Lord and Savior!
We've been the same😂. Until we saw this video. We are both very meticulous with everything we've done, but, even tough we've watched a lot of videos, we didn't have the confidence until this one. Fantastic, fantastic 👏 job. Very nice kitchen.
Thanks for the great arabesque installation video. I like the part about how to do the corners, very helpful. Also, thanks for the scripture, great thing to keep in mind.
Your attention to detail is fantastic, and what a nice kitchen! We just installed MSI brand arabesque tiles and had to remove all of them from the backing and space each one individually. Wish we went with something you used!
Amazing job dude! I love the arabesque style of tiles, hoping to do them in our new kitchen, though want to see if I can find a set of different hues and do some "mosaic" style texture with them. Also, one thing I've heard is that you shouldn't use your finger to smooth the caulking, as it leaves bacteria/etc in the silicone, which grows in there. That said, no idea if that's true or just a myth!
Hey, I used a wet tile saw that I picked up from Harbor Freight and unfortunately I don’t have any video of me cutting the tile. But I will definitely be sure to include that in the future. www.harborfreight.com/power-tools/power-saws/tile-masonry-saws/10-in-wet-tile-saw-with-sliding-table-69275.html
Hey what's up! I used a wet tile saw from Harbor Freight (CHICAGO ELECTRIC POWER TOOLS). The tile saw I used had a sliding table but I’m sure almost any wet tile saw could get the job done. www.harborfreight.com/power-tools/power-saws/tile-masonry-saws/10-in-wet-tile-saw-with-sliding-table-69275.html
How did you put the covers back on outlets if the tiles are in the way and what was the right size trowel you use ?
Thanks again

Did you grout or caulk the 135 degree angles?
What’s up Nolan, yes I did grout and caulk the 138 degree angle.
Great video btw. Really appreciate the techniques shared with this type of tile. Keep it up!
