In today's video, I finish building out the living room area of my RV that I'm converting into a tiny home on wheels. In my previous living room video, I mainly focused on the slide out area of the Travel trailer RV and spent less time building the tv and desk on the opposite side of the trailer. Today I'm revisiting that side and rebuilding most of the furniture in order to fully finish off the living space in the trailer. Hopefully you enjoy watching this video as a lot of thought and hard work went into this build. Next time ill be tackling the kitchen rebuild. Later!

Please step up your window cover game. Those roller shades were 1950's. To me, it cheapens all the beauty. A nice cellular shade is simple, provides insulation, privacy. Check it out next time you go to the Depot đ€

Not magnetic? It would make retrieval possible and easy. Just a thought.
I posted a way to retrieve those things. Just get a telescopic magnetic retrieval device at most dollar stores or even big box hardware stores. Just search for "telescopic magnet" device.
An after thought came to me for all of those "lost" screws and "nails" that are dropped in tight spaces. Especially useful in a moving vehicle like an RV; he did a few retrofits on an RV and he said they will eventually roll out and perhaps damage the floor. My Dad taught me a quick trick; he used a magnet attached to a string, sort of like a plumb bob, and the magnet would pick up any metal that has fallen into cavities. Yes, he was that much of a perfectionist when it came to any project he undertook.
Hey man I do the same thing for a living. If you don't already know I have a tip. For a better more expensive look on surfaces and cupboard doors ect use the big sheets of splashback. It cuts well and comes in a variety of nice designs usually used in shower rooms. I've managed to get some epic bargains on that stuff in the UK and it's a top quality product. I've been watching some of your videos pretty enjoyable đ€
This is how I want my son to turn out. My father was a carpenter and I never learned the trade. Wish I had. I picked up the basics peripherally, but couldn't do anything like this cat. But, I'm going to "persuade" my son to learn. Then when he's 18 and he's thinking about college I'm gonna tell him to get a van, trick it out like this dude, and travel across the country with his dog.

You're making me want to build my favorite tiny house design that I've made, but at the same time giving me new idea to augment the design before building, so the longer I wait the better my design gets, but that means I'm still waiting and haven't found land build/live in it on.
Love how it turned out! Only pointer is that you may want to put on full cabinet doors so everything stays in place when you are driving around, that barnyard door will be sliding everywhere.
I appreciate that you arenât afraid to make changes. I think a shoe cubby and waste can storage are great additions.

If you want to retrieve a screw that's fallen behind the tv like that, you can pick up a telescopic magnetic doohickey (that's a technical term) at most dollar stores. I carry one with me all the time, and it works great to retrieve things I drop behind the passenger seat of my van, etc. Particularly useful for retrieving keys. :-)

Hey Dual Ex iâm an Apprentice Electrician from Houston Texas and I love all of your videos. You have such great ideas and tricks. Iâm actually wondering what kind of boots you wear? Iâve always worn slip on Ariats for my ansi rating and general use being an Electrician but when iâm home working on projects or doing things like renovating my own home, iâve been trying to find good work boots that are comfortable and look somewhat nice on your feet. I love the way yours look and iâve seen other trades wear them such as sheet rockers and plumbers. Thank you for any input you can give me.
You should consider adding plans on all your builds just on cut lengths and supplies just a recommendation

I just discovered your channel and I am already feeling more confident about redesigning my home to "age in place" and I love the quality of the work that you do. Someone in the previous comments mentioned that finish carpenters are never fully satisfied and that reminds me of my Dad. He was gifted when it came to working with wood I just wished I had had more time to learn from him. So I will learn from you instead. You do excellent work great job I took you advice about the tile and glue for my friends small bathroom but in looking he needs a new sub floor so we are still talking about it great job it looks great
Real nice, have u ever considered one of those invisible shields as windows? Its just plastic sheets with groves that create an optical illusion depending on which way u put the lines, then no curtains needed, n plenty of light.... but i do think they have to be bowed/curved a lil
