The Holy Spirit in our lives will come from as much of the word of God we read and understand. I don’t believe on the in dwelling of the Holy Spirit in a mystical matter as the Apostles received, we now the Holy scriptures that teach, instructs, reproves, and guides us.
What is the difference between the indwelling Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit that was passed to new converts by the laying on of hands of the apostles Peter spoke of in Acts 2: 38?

And the spirit should manifest itself. So why is it when I go into these churches that the spirit is not being moved in these churches.
