I feel like this disc might get some hate but imo the Innova Roadrunner is underrated.
I have one in star plastic. Flight numbers say 9/5/-4/1 and it’s not even close to how it actually flies.
I kid you not when I say this is one of my straightest discs. When thrown generally flat it flips up just a tiny bit and holds straight for its entire flight. 350ft and dead straight. It makes no sense, but I absolutely love it. Could just be the run I got but that’s innova for ya.
The Sphinx and Mantra are highly underrated. For 9 speeds understable discs, they crush. The I Blend Sphinx is supposedly a Sidewinder bottom and Valkyrie top. The Ethos Mantra is like a MVP Proton plastic. Both have tons of glide and just want to fly forever

Love the F2. I bag 2-3 of them and have been for a few years now. Such an underated disc
Kastaplast Stig (mid range). Baseline plastic Stabilizer (throwing putter) and Champion Glow Shryker 167-168 gram (lighterweight bomber driver)
Great choices. I'm sad to still not see love given to the Striker but the disc choices here were solid. The Saint is somehow thought of as a really flippy disc but it honestly isn't. Give it a shot if you like 9-speeds and long shots.

Swanky team is right! The Saint is a fantastic choice especially the run they mention in the video. If I have a tight fairway I’m throwing my Saint. Tons of glide and great feel in the hand.
Gold plastic Saint. The first driver that taught me to start getting a hyper flip and 300ft
I have been playing for a year, and i find my comfort for in my teebird3, River and my newly discovered axiom rythm (fission) for my fairway drivers
Lat 64 Maul is the straightest disc I have ever used in 30 years.
Loved mine, but they beat in fast and become rollers for me
So a prodigy F2 is like a Champion plastic Leopard3? Comfortable in the hand, carries straight a little longer than a teebird with a reliable finish.
Also The MVP Wave would be an amazing choice: Like the jet it is has AM usable flight (-2,2) and is a very comfortable 11 speed.
Underrated disc for me is the H3V2 from Prodigy in a 500 plastic. Really straight and far flying disc.
Absolutely agree about the Jet!!! I also bag the DD, but hardly hear about anyone bagging it!!! Both of them are great!
The popcorn is my main putter. I can‘t throw it well as i prefer throwing the pilot or the envy but the popcorn was a great discovery for me
Thank’s for the Recommendation for the Saint in the Royal Grand and Gold brand plastic. My 156 g Opto Saint is too understable for my 250 ft flat max distance and m so going to a less stable plastic seems like the right move.
I like that the F-2 has a 1.5 Rim height which should be good for smaller than average man hands. It has 1.8 rim width is often used for 8 speed listed discs but can also be listed as 7 or 9 speed discs.
MVP signal shocks me every time I throw it.

The Saint is one of my all time favs. Goes a mile perfectly straight. if Lat 64 released a Royal Grand or an Orbit I'd get like 10

But you can find overstable ones that give a ton of flexibility

Hmmm I have a Proton Jet. It is, however, so so stable. More stable than my Champion Tern. Could be just the one disc. But I bag Axiom Vanish (same flight number) as my bombing driver instead.

I want to get a Recluse since I think it will fade later than my MVP Deflector.
Popcorn has a 1.9 cm Rim Height which is probably good for people with average size hands but too high for people with smaller than average size hands when it to putting with it. Throwing with it should be at least ok with most hand sizes.
Most underrated first driver for beginners is the Innova archangel. It’s understable enough for beginners to get a good use out of it, and cheap because it only comes in dx plastic. Once the dx leopard becomes too flippy for you, this is the logical next step. It’s not good for windy days, but it still got plenty of use for me when I was more of a beginner.

I tried and really disliked the jet. I thought maybe I could use it for a roller but it didn't seem to work for me there either. I didn't mind the feel but I really just didn't like the flight.
I have used idio shoes since they came out and I really like them. Their water proofing didn't last too long but they are still a good purchase. I would get them again.
Didn't last too long? For $130, I don't want to hear that. Especially because they know their shoes are workhorse shoes.
@@DerekOfRivia I said the waterproofing didn't last long. The shoes are still holding in there.
Clash disc feel great. But they are way too expensive for stock discs for me to justify buying one.

Idio needs to come up with a breathable shoe since waterproof shoes make your feet sweat more and stink. Full disclosure I have water proof shoes that create more stench from my feet than non water proof shoes. I have not tried Idio shoes. For people who have them to the waterproof shoes from Idio create more stench than your non water proof shoes?
