Got my seat yesterday and took it on a 5 hour ride today. It is so much better! Makes the bike enjoyable, and I appreciate the bit of extra legroom too. I am 5'11" and fits me very nicely.

I enjoy riding my SV650 a lot more since mounting this seat 3 weeks ago. Stock seat is pain waiting to happen.

Yes my seat fits 2017 + models. My site does not take orders as stated on my home page. Please call the shop M-TH to get one on order. Corbin is really backed up, and it can take 4 to 5 weeks to get them in right now. I try to order at least 3 at a time, but they go pretty fast. It's a beautiful saddle. Just bought an '18 SV and definitely want to upgrade the seat. Am debating about trying to customize the OE seat or buy this. I had a Corbin previously and my one concern is the weight. Previous Corbin was much heavier than stock due to the very strong, but heavy pan. The pans are bulletproof and fit great as you point out. I just hate adding weight. Can I ask about the difference between stock and your seat? I'm 6' and 230 lbs. So figure I'll need suspension upgrades already. Hence my concern with weight. Cheers!
Its a small seat pan so though it is heavier than plastic, this one is not bad at all really. Cheers Dale

I know Suzuki made the stock seat "a board" because they wanted to keep the reach to the ground accessible for shorter riders. In that same spirit, this much better Corbin seat looks like it's done about the same thing.
Honestly with my 34" inseam, I would like an extra 1" or more added to the seating surface with the same general contour. Is that possible to do?
1 inch is allot when trying to keep the same shape. Its about 1/4 " taller than a stock seat. Call me Tuesday and I can tell you what I may be able to do. On Wed Im taking my wife Liza for a couple day ride ........ Its a once year deal with her !

Marine grade Vinyl is what you want. Yes we can still make our seats, but its getting expensive. We are closed at this time moving, and I'm in round 3 with my cancer, Not Fun !
Can you make it with a hand strap as Well? Is this comfier than stock?

Is there a break in period for the seat?
My seat is super comfortable right out of the box, but will totally break in to your back side in the 1st 1000 miles. DW

Peakwanderer didnt get one but there are 2 UK dealers on their website
Peakwanderer ive only found one alternative brand Bagster Seat but theyre pretty similar in price. Theres a deluxe version where you can have gel and/or heating but it takes the price up by a couple hundred euros. Still debating which seat to go for but you can really customise a Corbin seat!
Edit: just read on Corbin website and heating elements can be available soon for the seat

How much is the weight of the seat?

@@JudoAndrew Correct > I don't have one in front of me to weigh, but its still very light compared to large seats, like on a Versys for example. Only a little heavier than stock on the SV 650, and not a concern at all IMO. DW

I've emailed the California factory earlier asking their opinion on how your leather seats would hold up to the New Zealand Weather, with it being sometimes like 4 seasons in 1 day here, who better to ask than the creator of the seat Himself. How different in detailing would a complete vinyl one be to the one shown on the Corbin website and would it be less comfortable than a broken in leather saddle?
Here is a picture of my bike, as you can see it's not set up for taking a passenger anyway, so I'm kinda glad that you've designed this seat to be more of a solo seat.

Your bike looks good and so fun to play with Decep. I personally like the high end marine grade vinyl the best , so about a year ago I switched all my seats to that I make with Corbin. Its looks just as good, offers a bit more cush, and will hold up many years. Dale Walker Do the Corbin ones on their site also use the same vinyl? I noticed on your site that'd I'd have to sign a waiver before I could purchase a seat from there.
Dale Walker Another minor detail I have to ask you about is do the seats have to have the brand name put on them? I understand it's advertising for you guys but my overall concept with my bike is minimalistic and not having any badges or stickers where I can help it and the company logo on the seat draws your attention to it right away.
No Waiver for out of the USA, and thats also only for tuning or exhaust parts. You will need to e mail me with all your info to order a seat. Its get expensive to NZ with the shipping and Paypal fee, but Id be happy to check the cost for you. Corbin seat is not like my Holeshot as far as the material or cover. I order them and try to have at least one in stock. This seat is brand new so I wont have any for 2 to 3 weeks. Go to my website and look at what I need near the bottom of my home plage please. As the new owner of a 2018 SV-650.....let me be clear.....the stock seat is terrible. No padding, no push back support. This looks like the perfect investment for your bike. Steer away from anything but Corbin or this nice Holeshot custom Corbin.

Recieved my new Corbin seat for my 2017 Sv650 today, the back most hook thing isnt long enough to clip in. Ridiculous after 14 weeks waiting.
Did you get this sorted somehow?
I test fit every seat on my own bike Kate, thats if you bought the Holeshot/ Corbin. You will have to whack it a bit until the rubber bumpers break in. This is normal and not a problem. One phone call is always best if there is any problem or a question. 14 weeks is because this was a new seat, and mold being finished up. I either have them in stock now or have a few getting made up, which can take 3 to 4 weeks. Thanks Dale
