I hope everyone lands on their feet. Alone in the Dark looks like a solid title. I'd probably buy it if it launched on last gen. But current gen consoles are expensive and don't offer enough for me. :(
I loved this game. Probably the best thing to come from the whole Embracer disaster. I went in with low expectations because the internet made sure of it, and came out feeling like I played the closest thing to a good spiritual successor to Eternal Darkness we'll ever get. Played through it twice and had a great time. This is the nail in the coffin for the franchise though. Many attempts were made and failed financially to the point where I think it's just banned from corporate interest now. At least it got to go out on a high note.
Not surprising, unfortunately. I looked at the trailers and thought that there’s good chance this could kill the studio.
