I'd really like to know how this compare to an m1 evo. They should have similar disc load. Why do you prefer this over the m1?
E120S has a longer flight time and I like the FC on this one more, for me it feels better than the M1 and S1 FC, even though the M1 and S1 are better performing helicopters I fly with this one the most.

Could you share your pitch curves? I have this helicopter and am trying to learn 3D but I’m really struggling because the tail won’t hold, so even things I can do easily on my Goosky S1 usually end up as a crash on this one because it spins out of control and I can’t react to the spin fast enough.. But in your video the tail hold looked perfect the whole time, even with the more aggressive flip to inverted.
I want to figure out how to make it fly well because the weight and sound make it very satisfying to fly.
In my Radiometer TX16S the pitch curve range goes from -53 to 53. If you set a larger pitch curve range you will have issues with tail hold.
@@AndrejSturm Thanks so much! Mine must be having other issues then, I'm using -45 to +45 on my Radiomaster Pocket (I think the numbers should be the comparable because it's EdgeTX on both). My "Normal mode" throttle curve is flat at 0,40,40,40,40,40,40 and for 3D I was using 70,70 or 100,100. Do you like it better at higher or lower head speed?
I like lower head speeds.
Other possible reasons for lower tail performance:
- tail rotor slipping on the tail motor shaft - solution = glue the tail rotor on the motor's shaft by superglue.
- tail motor is worn out (it can overheat in the summer) - solution = new tail motor
Sign of a bad tail motor on this helicopter is main motor bogging down, this happens because the flight controller automatically lowers the maximum output power to the main motor when the tail motor can't compensate the torque produced with the main motor.
I have the rtf version. And my tail spins 180-degree very quickly sometimes and go out of control when full left or right stick. Any advice please. Im flying in 6G mode.
how is the servo holding up? my omp m1 have 50 flights with it without a crash, just cruising flight, and already replace 6 servo due to servo coreless motor failure, i put the heli on the trash....
Servos on the M1 and S1 are the worst servos in my 25 years RC hobby history. I have constant issues - failures on those two helicopters. I have about 150 flights on this E120S helicopter and the servos are still working OK. I have no issues with servos on the M2 and S2 helicopters (S2 has now more than 1000 flights).
@@AndrejSturm nice, i might consider buying the s2...i have walkera 4g6s over 15years old and the servo never fail😅
