I’m more impressed with the incredible skill it took to make it look like a relic from 1865.
And the fact that it was the only thing muddy in that garbage dump, the trash around it was very clean..

Ahh yes the classic go for a walk and find an old rc helicopter.
In two pieces
Wow, I didn't know plastic could rust! Amazing!
not rust,dirt
Not only that but the motors were barely even rusted. They werent even seized up from so much water contact over such a "long" time in mud. It truly is amazing that mud somehow got all the way into the deepest parts of the thing but it just works again with a simple water and soap scrub!
This is just another "restoration" channel that makes look bad the real ones.
@@GamerLoggos Was the drone missing parts? The battery he found it with was shot/bad. I think he works for or knows someone who works at the manufacturer. But like most people say I also agree he staged the video. Why was the tail of the helicopter stuck in a styrofoam sheet ? A place marker I guess so he knows where he left the drone.
He has some formula for that which makes plastic rust lol 😂 every item have similar rust maybe he takes useless items and throw into mixture of mud to make it look bad then he use his talent to make it useable again . It's amazing how far people will go for content nowadays, it's hard to find something original without the word fake. Though, i appreciate all the hard work you did in this video.
Yea
The tail stacked on the piece of cardboard gave it away.
@@lcfflc3887 Is that really the only thing that gave it away?
Man, this video is so fake from start to end. Faker than all the fake twitter accounts that popped out of nowhere after Elon Musk's stupid $8 move.
And those multi-meter tests.. This guy literally has no clue what he's doing, and the way he recorded this thing is simple:
1 - Start with the the thing working find, and record how it works
2 - remove the parts one by one and every time record a fake assembly
3- Once everything is in pieces, try to put a few things back together, again record that
4- Cover the thing in mud and make it look rusty and dirty
5- Place it somewhere in the middle of nowhere
6- Pretend you're searching for broken things
Now, place all the video segments in reverse order, and you get a crappy video which you throw on CZcams and wait for idiots to call it an "amazing restoration".

Wow. This drone was made in 1843 and this guy restored it perfectly. In the garbage from where he got thay drone, other plastics were not covered with dust whereas this drone seemed to be buried somewhere by the way the dust has been sprayed on it
most of his videos look to be badly worn items, that he then makes look like they sat outside for a decade or two by spraying with mud or chemicals to promote surface rust...and then he takes them apart to make them work again. The taking apart, cleaning, rebuilding and repairing are all real, but he definately makes them look worse off then they really were to begin with. But that's how he gets his click bait image, so it isn't for nothing.

The lengths some folk go to to get a like funny how everything looked brand new
What a coincidence that he is being filmed just at the right time when these things are found. I must admit though. These guys are quite resourceful. I mean, the multimeter he uses eclipses mine. Very clever people all the same.

People have no idea how hard it is to remove rust from plastic...
@BumbleBee !
This is so put on like storage wars. As a engineer who takes things apart regularly , something ain’t right here when all the screws come out with ease like this video.
No DilSaD,_ BUrLo nd
It looked to me like the screws had all been doused in WD40 or similar beforehand. Actually finding the tail that far away skewered into polystyrene also seemed a bit put-on. What amazed me all the electricals worked first time and he magicked up a controller too. But I guess it makes for a nice story.

Thats true man....he should make a video how to make everything dirty😂😂
and even at that he didn't even get all the mud out of the front faring
Camera just happened to follow him to the exact spot of an otherwise unknown and surprising discovery.
Out on a random walk - just killing time - enjoying the fauna and “OH LOOK WHAT I FOUND!”
Perhaps he lost it himself when flying it, how else would he have the transmitter at home. And the tail unscrewed itself and landed conveniently in the styrene. How else could it have happened?
Wah mekanik yg baguss
The repair was very good. All that's left is to take the brief. 😁😁😁
I love how convenient it is to find these random things and so easy to get parts. The wear and patina is fake. They are laughing that people think it's real. Let me send them a project and see how it goes.
I agree, it's quite comical.
Maybe this guy can fix my helicopter, it needs a new tail rotor.
It’s still a nice build. Fake or not most people don’t make it past the instructions.
I agree these videos have to try to push the extreme level of reconstruction. The reality is the parts would be crushed, broken or usually missing. You can not repair missing parts. You can make missing parts but rarely do they do that.
Классная окружающая среда, в которой пластик ржавеет.

The remarkable thing is that every time he finds something interesting, there is a camera recording it.
Are you thinking that they have staged the find. I am wondering where he found the controller. (JUST WONDERING).
Very interesting video demonstrating the capability of a persistent pilot to restore a toy helicopter with mostly every day household products. However, keep in mind this is a toy grade RC helicopter which sells brand new for very cheap. I can see spending the time to restore an RC helicopter like this in a post apocalyptic world, but in the current world we live in, it may be more practical to just purchase a brand new replacement. Thank you for posting the video.

They take more time to make it look like that than to `restaur it`.......WELL DONE CHAPS!!!!
I think this one seems a little hard to to be plausible. I own over 20+ RC helicopters and drones. The circuit boards in those things are very delicate. The mud and moisture this thing was subject to, would have corroded the tiny metal circuit paths, as well as component connection pins.
I had a Helecopter delivered to me that was left under a bush. I didn't find it for a few months. It was only left outside. No mud or anything caked in it like this one. Still, it didn't work. I had to replace the circuit board as well as a motor. There is lots of wire wound up inside those motors. Wires just waiting to corrode. Anyway, I'm very sorry, but this one doesn't seem plausible without replacing more than a battery. I think the circuit board and possibly even a motor or two. If those items had been replaced, I would have no problem believing it. I'm not saying it's impossible. I mean anything is possible. I'm just saying, not plausible, as the Mythbusters would say.
plastic and aluminium do not rust....
Just cover the hole ting in mud, take it apart and clean it and call the hole thing a "restoration"......bullshit.

Yes, we have become a throwaway society. Things today are so easy to replace and it’s usually cheaper to replace than repair. The replacement is just a few mouse clicks away and the mail is faster today than years ago. I remember when I was a kid, if you ordered something over the phone it was guaranteed 4 weeks before you got it and it was coming from within the US. Plus, by the time whatever you own has broken there’s a new one thats cheaper and has more features. Yes, we’re a throw away society but there’s some good reasons for that.
