Man I just used bleach mixed with water. Removed 90% of it than just sanded down a bit for the remaining. Lastly I primed and painted with a semi-gloss so the water droplets just sit on the wall rather than being absorbed. Semi-gloss is nice to wipe down with a towel.
Covering up the symptoms but not the cure of the problem
It will always come back you'll never get rid of it permanently
This was very useful and thorough. Thanks so much. Never knew that PVA glue could be used as a sealant.
My bathroom doesn't have windows as it's been created by shortening the kitchen, black mould was caused by my upstairs neighbor having a leaky pipe in his bathroom, until then I never had a problem with it.
I watched several tutorials/instructional videos before I came across yours but I didn't feel satisfied that I had all of the information I would need. After watching your video, I feel like I have the knowledge I need and needn't look further. You gave a great step-by-step explanation with great tips and practical, useful information that made the job feel more simplified and less like a daunting project. I am going to purchase my supplies and get started. Thank you! Liked & Subscribed!
I got black mould in My bedroom. What shall I do
Hiya, I’m currently in the process of repainting my bathroom. I’ve noticed that my skirting boards and ceiling is turning yellow after two years (we renovated the bathroom) can you advise of what to do? I’m going to buy the 123 primer x
how does it look now, 3 years later?
Are dehumifers worth using and do they kill mold already in a room or do they just stop new mold appearing also is salt effective and ok to use in dehumifers that have crystals in the top of dehumifer when Crystal's have run out I have mold in my bedroom and I use dehumifers and I dont wanna have to keep buying more dehumifers
Thanks for your video, very helpful, it took two days to get the mold off the ceiling. I took my time and followed all your protective gear tips. Definitely a process that needs time to complete correctly. I used a different mold/mildew primer 2 coats and 2 coats of paint. Took one week to complete and really pleased with the results. Thank you.
.followed step by step in my own bathroom, gave me the confidence to take on the job. Many thanks .
that zinsser primer stain killer is the solution for most painting and decorating projects love it enjoyed the video.
Very useful - nice and concise: clean & scrape, seal & paint.
Without doubt this channel is the absolute best for this line of work. Awesome!
Thank so much for sharing your most useful knowledge. I too didn’t know wood glue was a great sealer. I am definitely getting the mold killer and do exactly what you taught me. Thank you again.
