- Small, efficient, fun scooters are a great way to get around town and add a vehicle to your household without breaking the bank! In this video I review two entry level scooters with a great track record of reliability and dealer support, but also a high number of features. Thank you so much such big help, i could not do it without your video.....Thanks
Thanks for watching!
How much hp they have?
Do i have to undergo riding test on this scooter, I have a class 5 license and im fron NB as well,
In New Brunswick, if you have a car license, you can drive these.
Typhoons seem to hold their good looks for a long time-they age well.
A lot of people definitely like the design of that one.

What is top speed the liberty 50 ?
Any problems with riding them in the rain? Water getting into storage compartments? Damage to speedometer?
People drive these in the rain all over the world. I can't say that the storage compartment on any motorcycle (or scooter) should be fully trusted. I'd wrap your important things in a waterproof covering just to be safe, but yeah, like I said, these are used in rain all around the world.
@@PeterLoweOne thank you!
Why is the front dest of the typhoon is the same as 9years ago?
Yeah, I feel like the cost cutting measures have gone a little too far. It seems to me like they could have updated that a while ago without increasing the cost too much. It works... it's just not up to date.
Old model much better whit 2 stroke is another story 😂 🚀🇮🇹
Which one would you personally buy?
The Vespa Primavera 150. I live in an area where I have to take high speed roads, and I love the classic styling of the Vespa and the LED headlight. Out of these two, I'm not sure. I like that the Liberty has fuel injection, and a nicer dash (and more colour choices) but I like the width of the tires on the Typhoon. It's my impression that the Liberty is just a slightly better scooter, but that's not based on fact as much as just my perception. I think the Typhoon needs an updated dash as that's something that the driver looks at all the time, and to me it doesn't look like it's much different from scooters from the 1980's. I don't think it will bother many people, but as someone who looks at scooters and motorcycles every single day, it's something that I'd like to see updated on a scooter that I owned. (maybe I'm a scooter snob!) These are really close, so it should come down to which one you like the most.
It the 2023 Piaggio Liberty 50 a 4 stroke or a 2 stroke
They are all 4 strokes in Canada.
Injection or carburetor??😊
I got it... typhoon carb liberty injection
The grooves on the front tires are different in direction, one of them must be installed wrongly!
Nope. Look at a bunch of scooters and motorcycles and you'll find that there are many that have tread that appears to the eye to be the wrong direction, but it's not.
I was sure too because the grooves seems to be pulling things inwards... but looking at the tire in 1080p at around the 3:30 mark, at the bottom of the tire, you can see an arrow and indeed, it is in the correct direction! loll I would've been ready to bet it wasn't.
Amazing, a scooter of 2023 has got the same sized (a bit narrower, though) front rim as my Ninja 900 back in 84 of the last century 😁.
Were those to small, or these to large 🤔
What were the wheels on your Ninja ? Also, Ninjas are pure street machines, and low to the ground wins there. Liberty and Typhoon are barely, but can, be off-road capable for dirt paths etc. Ant think about it : today's cars and small SUVs are larger than many 80s , 70s, 60s cars. One more thought : the 150cc Liberty rides the same frame as the 50cc , and vice-versa.
@@jamesconner3437 16" front rim. Can't recall the exact tire figures, though.
Typhoon 👍
