This video is a continuation of the How to Aim Main Gun video in the Beginner's Series for World of Warships WoWs Legends Console, the free to play game from Wargaming available on PS4 and Xbox 1. This is geared towards players using the second level of zoom when aiming, and describes how much to lead targets for destroyers, cruisers and battleships.

With this “2x zoom” that I am usually zoomed in at while playing, these are the keys:
1) Vertical hash marks on the horizontal aim indicator mark 5, 10, 15
2) Shots are calculated from the leading tip of the ship (bow or stern, depending on which way the ship is traveling), not where the shot is intended to land. This is a key difference between my old system.
3) calculations assume a fully broadside target traveling at full speed. Ships at an angle, or traveling slower than full speed, need to have adjustments made to the aim
4) Battleships : multiply seconds to target by 1. Cruisers: multiply seconds to target by 2. Destroyers: multiply seconds to target by 3.
zoom x2 is the zoom zooming the most ?? because I'm not coming at all
@@anthonymole8680 when you're aiming keep pressing the left joystick to see the different levels of zoom. 2x is the second one in terms of how far zoomed it is
@@TbullGaming recap !! when you aim you press L2 so this is my first phase of zoom (x1), so you have to re-click on the joystick once to zoom in x2 is it?
Tbull I don’t use zoom 2x that’s much, because is made my shot miss a lot
@@loclam3791 yeah I wouldn't recommend ever zooming in beyond the standard, default zoom

Great video as always, you should have a lot more subscribers, as my opinion you are one of the best wowl you tubers. Even though I already know a lot of what you put out there, your videos are great refreshers. Now I just need to learn to stay calm in battle and not get over excited.

So I only got the chance to play three or four games before I had to leave my house right after the video came out, but I am already excited at the prospect of using that formula definitely a little bit of adjustment ship-to-ship, a fair amount of practice and this is like the last piece to my puzzle I swear. I've been trying so hard to get my long-range game down and I've been having a hard time and just those two games I've played I could already noticed a difference. keep up the good work sir and thank you for not being selfish with your video game skills.
I think you'll be pleased. Like you noted, it will take some practice to have it become an automatic part of your game, but the system works, and I have the confidence to hit any ship that is within the range of my guns using it!

Question can you make 150000 with any teir ship or is it the higher ones I keep coming up short?
@@brandontackett8631 I think the sweet spot is tier 5 or 6, but that is just based on my own experience. Higher tier ships tend to put out more damage, but the game gets really campy at tier 7

A few weeks ago I got a msg from another player. I should delete the game from my console cuz WOWL doesn't need players like me. I laughed. Last night in the New Mexico I got a msg and friend request. The msg said that player hadn't seen tactics like mine since he/she played on the pc. This morning there was an invitation to play together. Thank you for these vids. They work.

@@danielc.1169 yes, to give to Tbull for creating a video "manual" to a complicated game that offers little to no instruction on how to play. I miss the actual manual we used to get with games. I'm old school. This person has gone out of his way to put together a series of concise videos to help a shlubb like me enjoy the game more and help my team enjoy their time as well.
I use the number on the right and use the bar on my scope to marry up, the markers equal 15 overall (each marker represents 5) for battleships, 12 for cruisers (each bar 4) and 9 for destroyers (each bar 3) works eeverytime

Nice tutorial and my aim did improve after watching the first vid and I’ve learned abit more this time around as well. I was wondering if you could explain what RGA is and why I can’t seem to hit anything in a BB under 5k while aiming at the waterline. Thanks!
RGA is range of guaranteed acquisition. Basically a proximity spotting range. 2 km standard or 3 km if you put the mod on that increases it.
Hitting citadels close range is a lot tougher, because they are mostly under water. At longer ranges the shells are hitting the ship diagonally, or vertically at really long range, whereas at close range the shots are hitting horizontally, so they normally go over the citadel. If you aim just barely into the water so the shot angles down slightly more that can help, but aiming too much into the water will cause the water to absorb the velocity of the shell and cause a miss

It might be a stupid question but when I zoom in on a targeted ship the lead is already done for me but I’m guessing it’s not 100% accurate. I’ve learned through trial and error that I give more lead in most of my ships. I will try your method though.
Unless you have different settings than I do, I don't thin it sets up with a built in lead. I'd play around with this system and see if you can get it to work. I really don't have any problems hitting any ship within my range
Having seen your vids you seem to hit better than I do but you could be a much better player than me which is not hard lol. I’m not sure what settings I’ve got set up but when I zoom in I’m automatically got a lead on the target but it’s no where near as accurate as what I see on your vids? This actually goes down to how lazy wg are, I’m a wot veteran and the tutorials for tanks are very hard to find and implement. they wonder why new players are turned off from playing.
On one hand I agree, but I also like the fact that the game is very simple to pick up and play, but has many deeper layers that reward people who are willing to take the time to learn
How to easily destroy battleship in game?
How to deal with battleship when you get close to them or close to torpedo them?
Well torpedoes are the only "easy way to kill them. Battleships can hit them in the citadel 4-5 times and that does the trick as well
what is the 2x zoom ???
If you push the left joystick while aimed down the sights there are different levels of zoom. The most zoomed out is 1x, next is 2x and usually there is a third zoom after that
Is there a third zoom. Say I start the battle, pull left trigger and click r3 it goes into 2x zoom. Now if I let go of the left trigger, pull it again and click r3 too me it zooms in even further.
There is, but I don't ever really use it.

You may be able to help me with a query I have. I have a level six battleship, it came up yesterday with a repair demand. I cannot use it unless I repair and refit, arm the ship. The demand was for 28,000 XP while I have 26,000XP total. Looks like pay for play demand. Any suggestion on how to deal with it without throwing cash as it. It is supposed a FREE game..
The only repair cost in away is the service cost, which I have a video covering that topic. For tier 6 it costs about 100k credits per game, so if you almost had no credits left and then played a match and had an early exit, you night have dipped into negative credit territory. There's nothing that should require xp upgrades that im aware of

Torpedoes? I have a torpedo aiming guide, and a torpedo tips video coming out tomorrow. Aiming torps is much less of a precise science and more trying to anticipate what your opponent is going to do. Just comes with experience

Yeah, you really only do the math while you're learning, then it's pretty much a quick conversion without thinking about it
Another ? I here sometimes " target enemy aircraft " is there a way to target and attack an aircraft ?
I think they will add a way to target them later on, but for now all you can do is sail closer to the plane so the AA will target it

:} I've notice in a few or more of your vids you're not flying boosters this was something I was seeing if you talk about weather to hold on for higher tiers or just when ever? I'm squirreling mine as of yet.
Well the xp and credit booster I put on my premium ships to get the most of of the. I have about 1300 battle boosters, never ties using them. If I ever think about it I'll probably try them on the higher tier ships

Wish they had the retical options like the PC has. I liked the circular one they have, works nice for angled ships.
Are the different reticle versions mods or are they part of the actual game?
