- In this video we show the Mitsubishi SMART MULTI in a 1:1 application with a PVFY air handler. This system is an absolute monster putting out gas furnace comporable heat output at -5 degree farenheit outdoor temps!!!
Y’all should be the national training staff for Mitsubishi since few contractors seem to be able to even come close to what y’all do.
I gawk at all your installs. So much cleaner than what we get here on the east coast 🤷🏾♂️. Where's the air drop return?
Nice lineset work installing one right now
Nine seems so loud. I've got the same unit going to their air handler any idea how to make it not so loud. It keeps me up at night with it's hummm
Is it possible to achieve 2 zones with above system (1 MXZ-SM and 1 PVFY)?
Do the Sumo supports significantly reduce vibrations? What more can you tell me about them?
Hi. What is the model number of that outdoor unit? Is it MXZ-8C48NAHZ2?
Which unit is this?
Can you say a little more about the job. Rough location and size of house...
how much kwh does it pull,
Can it be paired with a gas furnace?
Yes but it will be fairly expensive.
Involves dampers and ductwork.
A Mitsubishi PUMY can do 10 indoor units without a branch box or multiple line sets.the smart multi isn’t special with that.
No it still has a branch box.
@@timrob0420 incorrect I have this unit hooked up to multiple heads in my house. One lineset no branch box.
@@NotOurRemedy that makes absolutely no sense. Do you know how heat transfer works? It would need either multiple line sets with multiple metering devices from the outdoor unit or a branch box, which has multiple lines with metering devices. You have a branch box you are likely unaware of where it’s at. That smart multi has a branch box too. I’m a Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor technician.
@@timrob0420 I’m a commercial VRF technician. Heat pump VRF needs no branch box. Heat recovery would.
A single lineset with brazed Tee’s going to each unit. Is how heat pumps are done. Each unit has its own EXV.
@@NotOurRemedy interesting i did not know you had city multi unit installed in your house. Appreciate the feedback. Why anyone would install a commercial system in a residential setting is beyond me.
