  • This is a step-by-step DIY tutorial for beginners. Unless your car came with OEM HID's, then you probably want to upgrade your headlights to the next generation. This is the simplest, cheapest route. I also discuss which type and style to choose. If you want to replace your OEM bulb, you can also do that with this video. This is relatively easy, so everyone can do it! Upgrade your cars visibility and aesthetics. Good luck.

Hi,one question, which h11 did you use? H11A of h11B?if you choose the wrong one it can cause a stripe because of the return wire?

Some Amazon links go dead. I'll post another, sorry. I believe these are the ones I bought. amzn.to/41xbuiR
They say "H11" so I'm assuming they default to H11A. I'm not in town, and I cannot verify with the car. Hope this works out for you. If not, I can possibly check in the new year.

For the 2006-2012 IS lines: If your car came with the OEM HID setup on the low beam, then the bulb size would be D4S. If your car came with OEM halogen bulbs, then the bulb size is H11. The high beam is 9005 (I believe) and the fog lights are 9006.
Therefore, if your car came with OEM halogen bulbs, then yes, you can put H11 bulbs in for the low beam. The LED bulbs are not something I've used before, but they look promising. Good luck.
