BMW E90 335i 328i Ashtray to Sunglasses Holder Conversion - Full Tutorial and Guide (E92/E93/etc.)

Tired of my useless ashtray and tired of no place to put my glasses, I relocated the 12V outlet and installed a new sunglasses holder console insert! I also show the relocation/splice of the tiny LED lights to illuminate it all. This is a step-by-step guide that absolutely anyone can follow. It costs very little, and it is WELL worth it!

I like your technique of pulling from the inside lip of the panels. I gouged my panel a bit, even with a soft panel removal tool when loosening it exclusively from the outside rim.

Oh, thanks! Yea, panels can be a pain to remove and avoid damage, lol. This car is not as bad as some, but hopefully you can touch it up a bit or it doesn't show too much. Have a great rest of your day 🙃
