Loved the video! But i noticed something, was Josh in this video? The drummer was left handed and making faces but was backlit and washed out during their shots. Also, there weren't any close-ups of him like the others.

Technically over 20. They were doing shabutie in the late 90s and i THINK the name changed to coheed in 99.
Just looked it up. So yeah they released delirium trigger in 2000 so i think the transition from shabutie to coheed happened sometime after "plan to take over the world" by shabutie released in 99.
The band that evolved into Coheed as we know it is closing in on 30 years.... 1995 +/- is probably the most common answer for a birthday

I have a half sleeve devoted to the band. I was a huge fan and then there were a couple albums I wasn't really into. This song brought me back around. Hoping the accompanying album is just as good!

Leave it to Coheed to write a song with lyrics that feel like they're about two people and their issues of self-worth affecting and being affected by their relationship, but the song's *specifically* about a weird space cyborg with a weird bald head friendo comin' outta his chest, and they have a robot spider friend and who knows what else.

For the most part that’s what I’ve loved about Coheed my entire life. The fact that Claudio says it’s specifically about the Amory Wars but that the meanings are doubled so the listeners can relate to it whichever way they hear it.

Then you're probably aware of Claudio's comic book? The Amory Wars. Every album, every song is based off this series all the way up to Black Rainbow. It's dark, complex, and one hell of a ride. Coheed and Cambria and their son go through some shit.
SAME, girl! I get goosebumps every time I hear a new release. They've been amazing since I was in high school, through college, job hunting, cross county moves. Now I have a little girl and a mystery baby on the way and I make them listen too :).

They played at a festival near me and their sound quality was notches above every other band there and they prolly had the shortest set but still rocked it. AX7 sounded amazing as well.

Was front and center in denver last Tuesday , standing next to some asshat that threw these guys a doobie from the crowd. Never got into coheed until that day. These guys kick ass. Best live show I've ever seen . Fan for life now. You couldn't hear them over the entire pit singing along at one point word for word.
I don't know if these guys have ever done a chorus that SLAPS as hard as this songs. Absolutely stunned by their quality.
I really wish they would just be able to do the Amory Wars movies by now. Coheed and Cambria is the most unique and amazing band and have having over a 20 year span… come on the story is beyond amazing. The comics alone should be having some type of cinema for fans.

This is the opposite of the Ten Speed video. From dark uniforms to white, playing in a crowded warehouse to a (nearly) empty one. Claudio's hair got longer, Travis's got shorter. One person running, a group of people walking. Also, that person keeping ahold of something while the group lets something go. I love it!
