Have you Guys seen the Young Justice TV show? I noticed Eric's shirt and it looked like superboy so I got curious. Because if y'all haven't then y'all should. It is an amazing TV show, especially the third season and I think it is getting a 4th season!

This movie is actually the first movie in the continuity, Flashpoint was a reset with some of the movies prior being in the DCAU. That's why Flashpoint ends with The Flash in the Justice League War costume . And why you are meant to be aware of the relationships going into Flashpoint

The story's a bit thin, but the action, characterisations and interactions make this movie a lot of fun. I wish Darkseid got a little more depth and personality outside of being a big evil thing for the Justice League to fight, but I suppose with the runtime they didn't really have time to do too complex a story.
They could if they didn't had made the movie full of action, I mean I liked it, but there's too much action and almost no story, everything feels rush and the second half is like a whole third act
It's a universe worth of movies why would they need to wrap it all up in one? They have 14 more movies to flesh that out

You guys didn't realize that the ice cream scene from Wonder Woman (2017) with Gal Gadot & Chris Pine was inspired by the same ice cream scene from this movie. "You should be very proud". I think it was also in the comics (not sure though).
And the scene in this movie was inspired by the same scene in the 2009 Wonder Woman animated movie.

YES that was my first DC animated film and wished they could do it live action. Issue is casting, budget, the build up of each character in their own film.... would take years,
I’m really hoping they watch it eventually. I know Aaron’s seen it because he’s talked about it before, but it was also my first DCAU film. Owlman is an amazing villain.

they cut this part out but one of my favorite little moments in this movie is when Barry first meets up with Hal & Bruce and goes “wait, Batman’s real?” and Hal just says “yeah, he’s...over there.” It’s not really a joke but something about the voice acting makes me laugh every single time.
Edit: they also cut my other favorite little moment when Barry peeks up from behind Superman’s shoulder after the explosion 😂

Green Lantern and Batman are the unlikeliest of Buddy Cops but their dynamic is honestly one of the strongest through-currents of all these movies. It's especially great towards the end of the series where they start vibing more and more and being on the SAME page at times.
I forgot Alan Tudyk was Superman in this...that man is a treasure.
The music score in Son of Batman is great.
The Wonder Woman theme at 15:37 was everything 😂
The one thing I definitely dislike is how aggressive Superman is in this. Going so far to attack someone he could easily see is fully human. But Superman, who's never been hot headed before, attacks someone based on their appearance and not what they say or do. Batman & Superman fights _should_ be reserved for actual differences in their character and not petty scraps at thinking they're enemies despite having never met prior...
New 52 superman is definitely one of worse interpretations, it took them a good while to actually fix him in the comics (I think until whenever their next soft reboot was), I was never a fan of Wonder Woman and Supes being together too, though that may be my Justice League Unlimited preferences talking.
They brought back his Golden Age personality. Golden Age Superman once took a guy beating is wife and just threw him through a wall. New 52 Superman lost Ma and Pa Kent at the age of 17 to a senseless car crash It actually came out later that it was caused by an enemy of Mxyzptlk trying to one up him. That's why Mxy eventually fixed everything for him in Rebirth.

And Gods and Monsters! It's not part of the main animated series, and it often gets overlooked, but it's one of the best DC animated movies in my opinion.

This was basically what I believe justice League was supposed to be, except they lose and it leads into flashpoint I believe.
The film has its flaws, but was a great way of proving you don't need individual films to lead with a group one; you could do a group one and have individual ones afterwards

It’s so unfortunate how the animated movies get it so right, but the live action get it so wrong.
Dcau ain't that good. Bland, surface level Movies. Overrated. Batman begins alone is better than all of them.

He's good. The problem is that he doesn't really have a Bruce Wayne mode, and it limits the character range. But he's definitely a close second place for me.

The best way to look at the new 52 is actually summed up by the Flash during Flashpoint.
As time in the movie went on he remembered more and more of that alternate timeline as that reality. So the New 52 movies unfold much like that as this is a changed universe. Only I stead of a flash of short clips, we get to witness movie length displays of the changes.

the connection is in the post-credit scene from the flashpoint paradox in that this is the start of a new timeline
I am so here for this. Even though they say Flashpoint comes first, this is the first movie in the chronology of the new universe. Flashpoint doesn’t fit this in the continuity since this is their first joining. (Also there’s a new Batman)

When I first watched this movie, I didn't like it because it was too mean and violent. Then years later I watched the live-action Justice League movie and, looking back, I realized War did a much better job at introducing it's heroes in a fight against the forces of Apokolips then that movie did.

Pretty much yeah. First reason is plot. They never worked in a team and since majority of them are really powerful, they got ego, like sups, gl and wonder broad. Second reason is character development. You want to start with your character being flawed, in order to build him up and get rid of that flaw. It’s really simple method, and it works since we are flawed as humans, so we can relate to them at one point or another. Which answers the question why people don’t like perfect characters (que Rey from sequels)
Yeah. All the heroes have a very holier-than-thou persona. That's one of the reasons why I'm not a fan of this Animated New-52 universe

In this DCinematic Universe, it seems like each post-credits scene teases the next one. In "Flashpoint", it was a Boom Tube opening up and the parademons invading. This one teases "Justice League: Throne of Atlantis"

This is what I’ve been saying since guys you watched flashpoint. You guys need to watch ALL the dc movies, the continuation of these movies (new 52), JL: Crisis on 2 Earths, JL: Doom, Batman Under the red hood, Batman The Dark Knight Returns part 1&2, Superman/Batman Apocalypse, Batman: Assault on Arkham and many many more. And the best thing about this is that they are ALL on HBO Max right now so you guys can watch them all.
