Fix Exhaust Leaks. Exhaust Manifold Replace and Repair

Trick to pulling broken bolts is to use a washer first and weld it first, then wend the nut on top of that. Appreciate the 720 appreciation, working on mine next weekend

at least your manifold is not split completely in half like mine is.

I actually tried the red exhaust rtv on the collector before in a desperate attempt to stave off the fumes. The whole thing is probably on borrowed time at high interest. I'm nervous as heck trying to break the old rusted studs off. I'll try weather strip to seal around the back of the hood to keep the smell from going directly into the air ducts. I bet the cat is partially plugged and the collector is going into the wrong size down pipe. Yay. Someone wrecked it back in the day.

I'm just going to seal my hood and might delete the 🐈. I hear a full leak. I believe that it's the collector gasket or lack of one. Mine is fwd wagon and it's crammed in there. Everything is rusted and if you undo the collector, it doesn't give but maybe a 1/4" of play.

i know it’s just a figment of my nightmares but why did you do that?? think mine is leaking right there too. can you explain please.
