After I fast-forwarded to almost 4 minutes, I finally saw how you look for the leak.
Lol.
@@Donnythelatemodeltech disregard that stupid comment, video was very helpful and enjoyable!
Exactly, its like hes looking for a boyfriend that finds him funny . This video shouldve been 20 seconds
Thank you for the information, I too had to fast forward.
Like y’all lame ass niggas so busy 😮💨
That rock and roll shopvac scene made me spit my coffee out🤣😂
I think that's why we watch his videos. I don't even have an exhaust leak.
Dude I was hollering and rolling on the FLOOR!!! That was hilarious
Dude, same! Subscribed at that part.
Thankx Buddy. I use this method on my Burb and found the two manifolds craked and also found some leaks on some welds on pipe. I taped the vaccum pipe to the tail pipe. It workS. AMAZING. BROTHER THANK YOU AGAIN. CHEERS.
Man I never would off thought of this. Great idea that I'm about to go out and use right now to find my truck exhaust leak. Thank you!
As a home remodeler, I use soapy water to check for gas leaks all the time, for instance after installing a cook range. But I'd have never thought so this for an exhaust leak. Brilliant! Thanks!
Thanks ! 👍
Just use a lighter
@@vt7828 I've done that in a pinch, if it's safe. Not sure how well it would work for an exhaust leak.
You're the man dude. Found the leak in the worst possible spot up near the turbo.
This was great! I loved the metal with the vacuum scene. I've been working on a custom exhaust for my 1936 Chevy truck with a 5.3 LS. Headers have been a nightmare and my old timer buddy said dump tranny oil down the carb and find the smoke. After about a gallon, my neighbors are annoyed and I have a guilty conscience. I thought about this but was thinking it wouldn't build pressure due to valves being open. I'm sure EFI throttle bodies seal better than carbs. If that's a problem I'll seal off the carb. Easy enough. Going to do this to find a vacuum leak too. Thanks man
👍
Yep always the easiest things that go completely sideways. Haha
This was perfect bro thank you. Big 5.6 liter and it was just my gasket needed to be changed. Typical armada 2006 se lol 200k though no problem original everything except I changed the suspension…..runs like new sounds awesome with a flow master exhaust kit as well might I add
Love how you did that. Founf my leak, thank you ! Also thank you for the video editing skills. What an amazing 4 minute show to pull out the dry vac ! I do appreciate you not making it longer showing us how to fill water bottle with soap. ;)
Cool. Thank you so much. I've just used your video to find 3 leaks on my exhaust pipe. I was worried it was the manifold, but that's not leaking. Thanks again!
Genius! So simple. I have little skirmishes with my ShopVac too. That was funny. Thanks!
A nice old trick to find leaks, thank you! It's a good and almost zero-cost start before getting really serious and getting a smoke/fog tester. And of course, the hardest part was getting the shop vac off the wall, ha! Everything's a project!
Thank you. Found the leak at the flange in less than 2 minutes and never broke a sweat all while underneath the truck..
Very helpful and the man vs machine-hanging-on-wall bit got me good!
Lol
Great video man,was rolling with the vacuum scene and i know why you left it in and it was brilliant.
looks like to some folks here it went right over the head (as usual)lol, it just shows us how "its always something" when your trying to get something done, i was working on my car a month ago or so and i left my shop vac right in front of my doorway to the house while i was i the garage, turned around real quick and ran into it, tripped over it and went thru the doorway and landed in the kitchen, was in major pain but i just busted out laughing, no ones fault but my own,lol
Thanks brother. 🍻
Neighbors cant think your crazy if they already think your crazy lol. Great tip!
I love how you included the removal of the shop vac from it's home. The simple things can create frustrations and are commonly editted out. It is funny, it's life. The moments we say, "Really?! F*ckng come on!"
Good stuff. Great video.
This is a great comment. Thank you. I have a little moment in this video also..... lol czcams.com/video/X19MFrHD16s/video.html thanks for sharing!
@@Donnythelatemodeltech It was great to include that for real. O modernize elevators and I know yhis too well (among other tasks).
The worst is when I am asked, "How much longer?" I say , "IDK... I didn't have to deal with this BS that O am dealing with the last time. It will be done thoigj! ( Don't ask fcker!!)." *Laughing very hard right know.* Peace man. lol.
Genius. Nice collection too. My driveway has two jeeps and a toyota as of now.
And so
1:45 was one of the best things i've seen all day xD
God darn vacuum
@@Donnythelatemodeltech xD So worth it, and EXCELLENT editing too haha!
That's me everytime😂
Pure Gold....Loving this Technique!!!
Thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks, best idea ever. I love how your Craftsman Vacuum comes with a wall mount, very convenient for storage. Maybe not so much of a time saver in your case, lol 😂
🍻
Thank you for the vid! I swear, the vacuum scene is similar to what all of us do trying to get something out or off. Lol. Awesome. And I’m using this method right now to see if my ticking is an exhaust leak or something else. Thanks!
Hrmm from my experience ticking usually is your ball joint that needs a repair as it’s worn out or if it’s ticks only when your turn then it’s your CV joint. Exhaust leak would sounds more like a not so nice rev XD
@@raniaafg4753 Ticking is a classical exhaust leak by the ball and socket/header area etc, know what you mean by the CV joint balljoint but i think most people call it exhaust tick is because you accelerate and that leak goes pah pah pah pah pah and it kinda makes a ticking sound,i had a old H pipe on my Mustang that was leaking and i could have sworn it was a lifter ticking every time but thank god it wasn't.
@@dntlss ooooo okay that makes more sense! Thank you. Are you able to help me figure out why my Audi turns off while idle like when I’m warming up the car? :(
this definitely just worked in less than 5 mins for me and I didnt even have to spray any soap!!! Appreciate you!!!!
Nice 👍
cool shirt dude, I saw KSE on the End of Heartache and Incarnate midwest tour, but actually clicked for the video as I have to find a leak on an 06 Trailblazer, never thought to use a vacuum... Thanks for the video man!
🤘
Best hack ever. That's going to save me some dough. Thanks dude.
Great Idea! Thanks! Video could have been a minute or less, but I got the info.
This helped me in so many ways, thank you.
Funny video, but at the same time, very informative. This method with vacuum cleaner and soapy water is also the smartest way to find exhaust leaks.
Too funny - ur neighbors will look at u funny!! What i was thinking right from the start lol. Hey it worked and definitely gives you more time than spraying a hot motor 👍👍
Great points! And thank you for getting to the point!
Thanks .. I can't find a donut gasket for my Jeep Wrangler. I just replaced my manifold and manifold gasket on that same side because of the crack, but now it's leaking loud.. Definitely have to try this tomorrow
Good on you for showing what it sounds like inside and outside.
👍
Great tip.Wish I had thought of that one....
Im trying your techniques tomorrow, thanks.
Great help man, I appreciate it
What a great idea!! Thanks man!
Nice. Thanks for the helpful video 👍👍
Great idea💡, found it right away👍thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
3:57 that exhaust leak sounds great. Upbeat tempo, good vocals. Don’t touch a thing.
I have no idea who you are and just found this in related videos trying to find a fix for an exhaust manifold leak, and you caught me off guard with that vacuum cleaner removal. Almost choked on the chicken I was eating. 🤣
Edit: I just realized I had it on 2x speed, which is why it was so funny. And I probably need to get out more lately. 👍
Great idea! Will try this, thanks!
Great video. Super easy and safe, I use this method also. Nice shirt by the way 🤘🤘
🤘
Oh yeah
I was a mechanic and we use to just get some rags and hold them over the tailpipe and the leak would make a lot of noise. Just get someone to look for it while you plug the pipe.
What i don't understand is y I didn't think of this. Great video and thanks for teaching me something I did know.
Lol, thanks for sharing!
Damn that shop vac. 1:47. Shop vac delivers uppercut ❤️✊🏾👍🏾
🤣
Gonna try this tonight !! Ty
That was informative and easy bro thanks
Great tip. Thank you. Sweet XJ.
Thank you and thanks for sharing!
That was clever idea with the drums and shop vac.
Thanks for the idea! My Ram sounds like your jeep!
Your ram will probably have 1 or two broken bolts on the passenger side, closest to the fire wall. Really common.. if you have alot of miles it starts happening on the drivers side too.
So simple! Awesome video mate!
😁
That's pretty nice method. I've also seen people use a Halloween smoke machine in the end of the exhaust or even finding EVAP leaks too.
Thank you. Great idea .
That Rock Vac Montagē was SOFA KING EPIC. 👏👏👏
Lol, sofa king, I like it.
Also they do have the manifold repair putty kinda like jb weld for a cheaper fix
Awsome content!!!!!! Will defend subscribe and recommend channel …your the man!!!!!👍🏾🔥💯
Good idea. I´m gonna check it out.
Thx bro got like 5 codes after replacing cat on exhaust manifold ,thinkin i might have caused aleak by not tightening properly the shop vac part was hilarious 😂😂😂
What are the codes?
Always on the easy jobs! Tool missing, broken part's and or even
Great tip!
Yoooo thanks for the video great information
Awesome tip bro!!! Going to try that out
Good idea, nice video!
I need two for dual exhaust pipes, but great idea.
I gotta try this for sure. ✊️
I hope you did a video on how to pull your shop vac off the wall tutorial 😀awesome video bro you helped me out.
Lol,😅👍
Just found my leak! Thanks
Thanks , I'm try this method tomorrow! 👍😀 Will let you know if worked for me.i Like the background music who sings that . ??
Shopvac stuck to wall was hilarious!🤣🤣
Sometime this week my neighbors are going to be wondering why do I have a vacuum attach to the exhaust of my truck. Thank you for the video.
Very helpful thank you so much
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for this man
No problem!
Thanks buddy! Great idea
No problem 👍
Great tip. Thanks.
No problem!
helped me find my leak- thanks man!
🍻
I’ve got the same pair of sunglasses lol. I’ve also got a small exhaust leak somewhere I can’t find Hopefully this helps me find it! Thank you!
Let me know how it goes
Big thanks for sharing this.
You bet!
great can hear you now thanks
Awesome thanks
I don’t even give a shit about the exhaust leak, now that I’ve witnessed the vacuum struggle that you have to go through 😂😂😂 Good video thanks!
Lol, nice 😜
What no way 😮,genius!!!!!!
Plug off the other pipe if you have duals! I'm about to try this. My diy welding job came terrible.
cool trick ty for sharing
Thanks for the awesome tips. Any chance we'll get an update video on the green Xj??
Xj will be back
Great tip👍
Looking forward to the partnership
Agreed. This is the best way.
thankyou for that great tip
You bet!
Hahaha laughed too hard with the shop vac being stuck 😂😭🤣🤣
🙂
Thanks
I did it with soap and running but it’s to high of pressure and it is harder to find. Rather then having a leak down smoker
I will be dammed, brilliant idea, I have a Scion with a hidden leak, I will try this out,,, fantastic-thanks slick
🤙
I just purchased my jeep 3 days ago and I noticed about 2 days later the engine sounded really loud and especially when I accelerated. I’m going to take it to the shop this weekend and I’m really nervous it’s going to be something huge.
That at about 1:30 earned the like before I even finished the video 🤘🏻
Darn shop vac, lol.
Want to buy your green xj if you thinking of ever selling it 🙏 btw awesome video this method really works 👍
Its actually for sale. Taking offers right now.
lol! That made me laugh out loud. Normally I only laugh on the inside.
Lol thank you so much!
😳😤🤬🤬I KNEW IT! 👏🏼I ASKED A MECHANIC IF I COULD LOCATE A LEAK DOIN THIS AND HE SAID NO IT WOULDN’T WORK🤬🤬 👏🏼I KNEW I WASNT CRAZY!!
Ask a tech myself..... I hear alot of crazy stuff.... all the time... sometimes you gotta want to have an open mind about and let some of it in.
Thank you so much
You're most welcome
Thank you good tip
🤘
bro, you may wanna check your VAC and Mount for leaks too by the mean looks of it! lol
Thanks nice video
Most welcome
