There were monsters that could swim just nice. Also the bloobs could shoot from very afar and the slime like thing they shoot could reach the pool, or any lake the pool guy was in.

The game implies that they have PTSD. They're the only neighbors who panic when a monster gets near them, and the game's poster shows a soldier who looks like he's extremely distraught.

Wearing 3-D glasses during a zombie apocalypse. It still makes more sense than sending a pimp out to bitch slap zombies.
I think the idea is that he's just watching a realistic movie and it makes him think that it's real. That's why nobody else reacts to the zombies
This whole game makes a lot more sense if you think the boy and girl and playing make believe with each other.
The Army guys that have bazooka ammo laying around actually start cowering in fear when enemies approach them too.

Now normally Zombies can't swim so the Pool Guy is safe. But typically a house pool is no more than 6 ft deep and the average height of a person is around 5 feet, so there should be no stopping the zombie from getting into the pool and jumping up to grab the Pool Guy from his raft and devour him from under water.
Do correct me if any thing seems missing from this statement.

Freaking yes! I loved this game!! There needs to be a sequel to this video where he talks to some of the ridiculous villains you encounter throughout the game. The short guy "doll" with the meat cleaver, the giant baby, the guys with chainsaws in the hedges... just all of them. I love this.

Actually, all of the victim scores are inaccurate in the video.
The cheerleader, as you mentioned, is worth 1000 points.
The barbecue guy is worth 5 points, while his food is worth 100.
The tourists are worth 100 points each, totaling to 200 points.
The teacher (who went unsaved) is worth a measly 10 points.
The baby is worth 700 points,
And the pool guy (who also went unsaved) is worth 100 points.
It's a shame I never played this growing up. Dorkly, you got the best of em, and I someday will play them so i can come back and laugh some more, after I get the joke!
