A real historic soviet tank before WG went to imaginary land.
The little pee pee has 0.34 dispersion with 100% crew, and 0.31 with food and BOA.
it can be hard to compete against the premium vehicles on tier 8 but i think this tank is one of the best tier 8 tanks in general. i even 100% marked the t44 while grinding for obj430
With its turret, it is not a competitive tank. Everyone can pen its turret with gold in t8 and up.

@@italopedro2232 Absolutely. T44 was a great tank back in the day. It needs some love for sure. Turret armor would be enough. Maybe some rate of fire too with its 250 dmg gun.

In those 3 matches you could go to uncontested positions and free farm enemies. Thats not the reality... everyone expecting something like that after buying t44 will be disappointed. Normally you can be happy to go out with 1,5k damage, -30000 credits and dont go ammoracked by a skorpion after 2 minutes
I commented already but just to point out protect the right side of your hull, that's where you're likely getting racked. It's a completely different experience when you play with that in mind.

I love this tank but I have to point out even you made a small mistake with it. The Ammo rack is damageable from the front hull but only on one side of it, at 18:09 you rotate it towards the enemy t-44. Luckily he didn't hit it but I figured I should point that out only because you're so helpful to us :) Appreciate you my man!

This tank was one of my favorites 10 years ago and is still one of my favorites, except now I play with the 44-100. Much love, Skill.
Was actually my first ever tier 8 tank and I used to play this tank with 250 alpha gun only. Few days ago I've decided to buy it back to go for the Obj 430, and tried 390 alpha gun just for fun and it turnd out to be so much fun that I was even slightly sad when researched 430 (also a great tank btw) on the literally next day and sold 44 again.
Really nice and comfortable tank to play, both guns feel a waaay better then they appear on the paper.
This tank has low requirements for the mark of excellence, and for good reason. If the gun decides throughout the game that it's just going to miss, it will. Still, this tank is awesome to play with. Using this tank with normal ammo is also quite a self-destruction.
No it isn't. It can pen a lot of tanks with standard ammo.

While grinding it I got a second mark of excellence on this tank by accident and it doesn't happen to me often.

I know i should not play it with 122mm gun, but it is much more fun to play it that way, at least for me.
same. I was free to play for 7 years. I got a bunch of mediocre 240alpha premiums. I played all the tier 8 240alpha techtree medium shitters. The big boomstick makes the experience different and thats what Im looking for.
but you def often feel like you would be better off with the other gun.

They buffed the 390 alpha damage gun so its now playable and fun but the 250's performance still eclipses it

My favorite part about the soft stats on the T-44 is that I can right-click on enemies, do a drive by and hit them twice at full speed while never aiming. It's like the only tech tree tank that still has the old RNG system on it.

You are Crazy Terminator, this is it, what not real for me,How you understant where is real use all enemy playres ,where go and how many speed go . More players have focus fot One max 2 tanks , next time in atac.It's like you're just stepping quietly there and you weren't even there. T-44 is a russian Tank, what do you expect from a russian developer? :D They made so many russian tanks OP, and even made Fantasy one's like IS-7. Best thing about is there is an IS-7 and an Object 260... The Object 260 is the IS-7, it's the same Tank. Object 263 was a prototype, like the IS-7/Object 260. The only ever model from the Object 263 was made of WOOD...
And then it was canceled. But Wargaming keeps the Russian Tanks competitive, even if they are not in real life, or they are pure fantasy.
So i am not surprised the T-44 got great Gunhandling. The 85mm ZiS-S-35 (T-34/85) was the only Gun you could mount on the T-44, the other Guns you can simply put on in this game were from other variants of the Tank.

I've been in shooting matches with T-44(and T-44-100) with my German mediums on multiple occasions and T-44 seem to be a LOT more accurate.
It usually goes as follows:
German Medium(Panther and Schmutz): I'm mostly in cover and I need to hit him twice and he's dead... Should be EZ...
T-44: Hold my vodka. German misses 3 aimed shots and hits only one and T-44 hits you back 5 times AND on the move.
It's Soviet bias all the way.

Deviation of guns in centimetres alone is such a nonsense figure. In addition WG should publish something about the probability of deviation, like the standard deviation or something like that.
Some time ago I saw a thread on a WoT forum about this, they were calculating the distibution of shots, looking at differences between tanks of different nations (probably checking for whether Soviet Bias was real in this aspect). I don't remember what was the conclusion, but the distibution did vary between different tanks. Anyway, WG claims to have changed this, so I'm not sure how the current mechanics work.

T-44 with 122mm gun is my top 2 medium for fun playing in tier 8. And no it's not the wrong gun, it's the fun gun to use. 🙂🙃😉

T44 seems to be untouched by wg for a long time. I hope it will remain like this. I recently 3 marked this tank on free to play account with almost no gold ammo. Its for more experienced players i think. Its kind of interesting that t44 dont had any changes long time like CDC for example. Back in the days I played even better with CDC than T44. Tanks are the same but conditions changed for T44 advance.
My T44 is the opposite. I can't hide the side of a barn with it. I think the FV4005 in my garage hits shots more consistently
Yeah, the shell velocity kind of sucks on the AP rounds. Gotta get used to the shell travel time. Skill usually hates those slow shell velocities, pretty surprising how much he likes this one!

it get the worst mm possible, i ran a test with it about 250 games in 10 game sets 80% down 1 or 2 tiers, and less then 1% to be top tier.

This tank is a liability
The tier 8 premium tanks wreck the tech tree grind. Run into a Arnie with 300 gold pen or Bz rocket tank and good luck. 2-11 today grinding tech tree tanks. The games changed to buy premium tanks if you want to improve your WR unfortunately IMO.
LOL, my BZ is at 40% winrate and my Iron Arnie is at 33%.

same thing with the SU100 the 100mm gun is just so much better, that rate of fire and accuracy is just insane.
Meanwhile, accuracy on t-54 mod 1 is worse than paper.
Gun handling isn't bad but everything else about the tank is meh. Armor is unreliable, alpha is anemic (250 at tier 8 is a pain - it means you need to tryhard twice as much as most other 300+ alpha mediums) and speed is nothing to write home about. If anything, the gun handling and accuracy should be even better to make up for all the other mediocre stats of the tank.

@@danieldaniel1210 Indeed; meh DPM. Same situation as with the gun handling: it doesn't have horrific DPM, but the other gun stats are so mediocre that it doesn't make up for them.

Theres nothing better than snap shotting targets while on the move from across the map, and you haven't even managed to get the reticle on them, because your bouncing around so much on rough terrain.

Paper accuracy is a joke. Just compare Panther II german "better" gun with this one at battles. T-44 have less misses/bounces for no reason.

Because it's a really fun tank. It's still competitive. It's mobile, will occasionally bounce shots, and the gun is really good.
this is 1 of worst tier 8 tech tree tanks same to prenium t54 prototype both are outdated.if they buf penetration and give some armor to turret maybe then this russian garbages will shine
It's the best tech tree tier 8 medium. No comparison. The T-54 is much worse though. I was very disappointed when I ground through to the T-54 and found out how lackluster it is. I ground to the 140, but never unlocked it because the T-54 just wasn't good.
These staged games with bots are amazing... t44 is trash tank that is eaten alive and fact that it can face tX is a bad joke.
It's the best tier 8 medium tank in the tech tree. Hands down.

Gold rounds are availible for credits.
You can't buy the expensive ammo with gold, nice try though.
