My aunt lived in her house for 30+ years + friends with everyone but then she started acting odd, fighting over minor issues, accusing neighbors of breaking in to steal from her garage etc. Turns out she developed a form of schizophrenia found in elderly people. Angry, paranoid, hostile... It was difficult even with medication.

My grandmother lives next to a neighbour who's like that. As an example she's disabled and so had a garden maintence company come out to cut the grass. They turn up, start mowing and he pretty much explodes onto the scene, shouting at them and threatening them with a peice of wood. Needless to say he's well known to the police.

Trying to reason with people who lack reason, intelligence, class, and common decency is an exercise in futility. Sadly some people only respond to force. You’re likely going to need a court to exercise force.

I live in a trailer park that you buy and own the trailer but the land is owned by the park. Each trailer does in a since have its own space that is basically laid out by landscaping that has been done many years ago. When I purchased my trailer I added a sprinkler system to the yard to water the grass and my nieghbor even helped me put it in. He eventually moved and a grouchy old man bought his trailer. The first thing he did was put a shed under a tree that seemingly was part of my yard. After the first leaf loss of the tree he came knocking at my door saying I need to cut it down becouse it clogged the the rain gutters he had put on his little 8'x8' shed. I told that I didn't own the property or the tree and he needed to take his problem up with the park owners. He did and they told him that he may remove the tree if it was OK with me. So he came back to me and told me the park owners said that the tree must be removed and that I had to pay half for it's removal. I showed him a letter that I had just recieved from the parks manager stating that the neighbor could remove the tree as long as I agreed to it. I also pointed out that no where did it say I had to pay half. So he did have the tree removed at his expense. But I guess due to not helping him pay to remove the tree he decided that he needed to do a plot assessment of the property which he found on google. I am sure it was a permit drawing of some sort for the original build of the park. Looking out my window he was going back and forth in my front yard with a 100 ft. tape measure. I found this rather funny and went and got my wife so she could get a laugh out of it. We both laughed and let him go about his business of measuring the yard. Of course a couple days later I got a knock on the door and he was saying that 4 of my sprinkler heads were on his property by 6", I again told him that it wasn't his property nor was it mine and to take it up with the park owners. As you can guess the park owners are now about sick of him and told him the same thing. They called me and asked how I felt about the situation , I told them I didn't care because the property wasn't mine as I didn't care about the tree. I did say that he could move the heads 6" my way but could not just remove them as they were watering my yard. He then hired a landscaping crew to come out and move the heads. The funny thing was they were 180 degree heads that watered into my yard and when he moved them it left 6" of dead grass in his yard. Never figured that one out or why he would want to do something like that but what ever floats your boat. He was a constant pain in my ass and very nosy about everything I did. Me and my wife were standing on the side of the house talking about what a pain in the ass he was and I told my wife watch this, I picked up my hammer and hit a 4x4 post I had in the ground about 10 times with the hammer and told her it would take him 5 seconds to come out and see what I was doing...LOL like clock work out he came. Me and my wife laughed and went in the house. The sad thing about all of this is he finally passed away. He lie dead in his trailer for 4 days before anyone knew he had passed. As much as I did not care for him it broke my heart that he was so alone.

Had a tree grow over the property line with my neighbor. His tree, not mine. But we wanted to repair the fence it took down while growing. I was willing to split the cost. He wasn't.
So God decided to solve the issue. It got hit by lightening, a week later, and split that sucker right down the trunk off my property line. Took the damaged fence with it.
Now I could have my fence repaired, while he had half a tree on his side.
He was more than willing to split the cost of removing the entire damaged tree after that. Lol
Our homeowners insurance covered the tree and fence. Problem solved.

@@moniquefleming3738 I have a similar issue with my neighbor. A couple branches from my tree are growing over my neighbors yard above his power lines. He's said to me a couple times that he will help me cut them down. I said, when your ready, I'll help you. As long as my tree is healthy, I don't have to trim it keeping from hanging over his property, however he is allowed to cut it back to the property line if he wants. It's in the ficus family, but if it were a fruit tree the fruit is mine not his even if there over his property. My neighbor on the other side has an avocado tree that has branches over my yard. The tree doesn't produce good avocados anyway. If it did then then one's that fall onto my property would then be mine to eat. Now I just throw them away in my garbage can.
      P.S.
Since we are the capital of lighting, maybe a bolt of lightning will strike, trimming them back for us. 😁

I did fencing many years ago
It is common courtesy to set the nice side toward neighbors and, you should set it back at least 2 to 3 feet so you have access for maintenance.
But you have to make it clear to the neighbors and the town you're doing this so it is documented and they know it is still not their property.
You can use mulch or crushed stone, anything which marks the actual property line before the fence

Read this slowly and try to understand. Filing paperwork with the courts is no problem, you can do that yourself. But just because you want to sue them doesn't mean they're going to cooperate.
Especially once lawyers are involved. They can file for delays for numerous reason's, they can drag that case out for years. If there's money involved, the person your suing can declare bankruptcy, there's a year or two delay right there while the bankruptcy claim is investigated.
You make it sound like "oh yeah, just run on over to the courthouse and sue them and all your problems are over".

I asked him nicely to fix it like it was and he threatened me and cursed at me and told me never to come on his porch again. Remember he busted my fence. He said it was rotted and what did I want him to do? Hmm, not take it down? Talk to me normal stuff but no he finally apologized and said he'd fix it but that was like 4 months ago so It looks like I'm going to have to rebuild my fence. I'd have a certified letter delivered and signed for stating the following.:
Exactly 48 hours after signing for this letter I'm going to pull up string line from pin to pin and remove anything that is on my property.
Furthermore I will not be responsible for any damage caused by removing anything that is not mine on my property.
48 hours later I would do just that.

And thats illegal for me to do and infact would further incriminate me in destruction of property.

I’m not going to scroll through 200 comments on my phone to see if anyone else asked this question: was that thumping sound at the beginning of the video the microphone capturing your heartbeat? (I had both AirPods in while watching, and it’s definitely in there for the first minute +/-.)

Be careful - here in PA, you can NOT make ANY type of audio recording of anyone - ESPECIALLY on their own property - without their consent. Here, it's a FELONY to do so. Where you are, that may not be the case ... but I'd suggest you check.

    • @UTubeHandlesSuck
      @UTubeHandlesSuck Před 2 lety +2

Laws on recording vary from state to state. In many, as long as one party consents (as in, the person recording) then it's perfectly legal. Until we know what state this is taking place in, we don't know if he could get int any trouble or not. Only Karens and crooked cops think recording is universally illegal.
