Well the easy way to find out is to re install your OEM intake.
Check your MAF sensor on the cold air intake. Make sure your MAF sensor is in the right direction and reset your battery (Unplug terminal)
Check the ignition coils
How did you fix it
I have the same issue. the light goes away on its own but comes back on the same stretch of road every time (5000ft elevation). In Michigan at an elevation of 500ft where 93 octane fuel is abundant never had a problem with my intake. In arizona at 10 times the elevation and 91 octane being the best available it goes off and on. is there a programmer that will adjust the computer to compensate for the changes?
I have a 2013 gt86 and this started to happen recently after I got the sparkPlugs changed and a crack on my exhaust repaired.
Don't know if any of those interventions are the cause for this issue or not...
Anyone solved this problem?
High pressure pump
what is your check engine light code? p0016-p0019.. any of those it might be a bigger issue than you think..
