what was great about this special was that TFS coincidentally released this special on the same week the Jap Dub released the DBS episode in the tournament when Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Android 17, and Frieza were battling an opponent that looked extremely similar to this villain. It even ended with all of them blasting the dude off the stage.

Not but seriously it's been years and that weakness line still feels off to me. Best guess, TFS is treating Santa like Freddy Krueger. His power only comes from how much power people believe he has. Goku took it away from him in that speech.
It´s a joke continuing from the cooler movie
I think the point of the line was that he had a mental block against killing Santa. He couldn’t bring himself to kill Santa, because that would ruin Christmas. Once he realized that Christmas wasn’t about Santa, he could give his all.

Santa (Dr. Raichi/Hatchyak) Voice actor is crazy in this. His voice is pure epicness. 9:02 is the best voice acting they ever made in tfs.

Funny thing about this movie, it's the one movie that wasn't made by the usual suspects. It was based on a game if I remember
It was an extra from a game, but close enough
So I dont see anyone telling yall this, but this is a movie that came exclusively with one of the DBZ fighting games. That's why the animation is different and the whole thing in general feels "different". I wouldnt say "off" because it's still pretty cool.

@@AWEhardy You're probly right, I never played beyond the first few boudakais and I played that first DBZ fighting game that you could kind of 'open world' between fights. I really dont get into fighting games but I love DBZ so had to play some of them 👌🏻

@@JustNardo Usually the after thoughts are just a bonus but not what we're watching for, otherwise they could skip the whole video and jump straight to the review. But if they talk about a joke they just heard or the movie without pausing, they talk over all the other jokes and it takes away from their full experience and the people watching. It's like showing someone a funny video, but they talk over it. But I'm glad they got the majority of the jokes and at least found it funny. It would be messed up if they talk over it and then call it trash.

Plan to eradicate came out before abo and Vado (yo son goku and his friends return) which came out like 4 years before Battle of Gods.
They kill Broly in the second Broly movie with a combined Kamehameha and Goku and Vegeta combine their attacks to finish off the three wolf brothers in the Tournament of Power.

The remastered version came out on Raging Blast 2, but the original movie came out in Japan during the 90s. We never got it here for some reason.
It was part of some Japanese game that never got imported. I think it was exclusive to a console that never left Japan, and that's why we didn't get it.

Killing Cell was sort of a concerted effort. Gohan put in the lions share but it wouldn't have been enough without his father and vegeta hitting cell hard enough to throw him off so gohan and goku could deliver the finishing blow. Also Goku, Gohan and Goten teamed up to beat Broly the second time. I think Meta-Cooler was beaten by Goku and Vegeta? But your point still stands i can't think of another enemy that they beat with the combined efforts of so many people. Jiren was close though, it took Frieza, 17 and Goku to take him down.

This actually wasn’t a movie, TFS took all these scenes from a video game; which I guess originally came from a digital short (hence Trunks timeline split since there was two versions of the original digital short)

In the original movie the villain was a "tuffle" the other race that lived on Planet Vegeta before the saiyans took over.. He came back for revenge on the saiyans for all the evil they had done, which made him a bit more complex than normal DBZ villains. I do prefer the 90's style animation over this newer style that looks over edited to me..
He was a Tuffle, Tarble was Vegeta's brother.

Yknow the one thing I hate about this special is that DBS joke, because it feeds the bullshit lie that Goku endangered the entire multiverse. For fuck's sake people pay attention to the fucking story. Goku saved the multiverse, not endangered it, if it wasn't for Goku reminding Zeno about the ToP then Zeno would have erased ALL the universes.

Justin DiNardo I’ve already watched movie. I’m watching the video to see their reactions to the jokes, but they miss them by laughing over the next joke by laughing from the previous ones
Ven Noel or discussing something completely irrelevant. I’ve seen other CZcamsrs have their comments on jokes but keep up with the show enough to catch the next one while saving their overall opinion until the end. The reason it bums a lot of us out is because we like all the Normies and how they interpret the content but it’s sad that we know something would have been meaningful for them to hear yet they’re too busy talking over it. If we didn’t like them we wouldn’t be here but we have to point out when they’ve done themselves a disservice. It’s not like they don’t have more time on their hands to re-watch it again or talk about the jokes once the cameras are off.

The gap was too wide. They shouldn't have taken him out at all unless Gohan goes SS2 (hybrid advanced form surpassing the legendary mutant). If not giving the boy his nod (as they should have), then just let Broly best them, they escape, leaving him for dead (obviously not) and preparing for a possible (inevitable) return in the sequel (that they didn't have faith in happening).

The villain is a good idea, but his 'dragon' (fighter) is just atrocious in design and technique. Poor fight, as well. Just another big boy (Broly perfected this, Bojack made an attempt, Super 13 paved the way and this guy...sucked).
