Yup, a lot of the VA’s have moved onto bigger projects. Hell, the guy who voiced Dr. Wheelo in the World’s Strongest movie went on to voice Megatron and the Demon King in Seven Deadly Sins.

16:20 technically, Vegeta can canonically use the Destructo Disk, he saw Krillin use it twice and then used it on Gohan's great ape from. (Never called it that, but it was a energy blade saucer thingy, so yeah. )
Yeaa ki based attacks can be learned by anyone. Like how every Turtle School Disciple (and one Crane School Student) or children of one can use the Kamehameha. Or Goku and Krillin using the Solar Flare and Multi Form technique.
It is implied that vegeta knew the technique, and that's how he recognized it was a threat and warned Nappa to dodge.

@@lostskull7467 idk about knowing beforehand, he more so just recognised the threat of it. The reason I assumed Vegeta learnt it is cause there was a narrative that Vegeta kinda just, learns fighting techniques and skills just by seeing it, initially. Like how he just, kinda learnt to sense energy on earth.
Freezer also used it. Although he improved on it by having it home in on targets and using 2
Some fun facts:
- TFS hates this movie, because of animation errors and plot holes - time-wise, it's _after_ Kami fuses with Piccolo, but _before_ Goku and Gohan go into the time chamber to train, so Piccolo _should_ be stronger here, but he's not, for some reason (as Cooler said, "It LITERALLY doesn't make any sense!")
- There wasn't a shot of Goku turning Super Saiyan during his initial bout with Cooler before Vegeta showed up, they created that one themselves with effects
- This is also the last time (if you count the movies in the timeline) that Goku uses the Kaio-ken for a VERY long time
- The title is "The Return of Cooler" which is a bit confusing, as the first movie he appears in is "Cooler's Revenge"
- They had to fix both Vegeta and Piccolo's eyes wandering to the side in both scenes in this movie, along with other fixes
- Cooler could use Instant Transmission in this movie thanks to the Big Gete Star, hence why Goku could keep up but Vegeta seemed lost at points
- At the Flawless Victory part at the live reveal, someone yelled "...that wasn't flawless!" and you hear Lani (in TFS Vegeta's voice) go "It was flawless _enough!"_
- And yes, that IS the actual VA for Claptrap!
But how do we know that Goku is stronger than Piccolo here when they never fight the same enemies for the sake of comparison? We can only assume that Goku's stronger because he's the one who fights Cooler, but that's because he's the main character. There's never really any distinct moments throughout the film that indicate which of the two is actually stronger.
If you think about it, Goku and Vegeta constantly getting their gonads wrecked is probably the reason why Goten and Trunks were so insanely powerful at such young ages. Apparently saiyan testicles get zenkai boosts like the rest of their bodies do.

Funny enough, there's a theory that Goku and Vegeta getting Super Saiyan before conceiving Goten and Trunks allowed the latter two to have more S-Cells and thus easier access to the transformation themselves.
@@johnnygyro2295 But for Trunks to have been conceived after Vegeta became a Super Saiyan would mean that he achieved that state very early on in his training for the Androids. Which is definitely not the impression I got, given the mental state he was in from so many failures before finally achieving it.

Trunks getting Super Saiyan after Gohan died was what the anime did, possibly for more drama. In the manga, Trunks already could go Super Saiyan while training with Gohan, but #17 and #18 rarely used their full power. Make of that what you will.

That WAS a Destructo Disk. Vegeta had stolen that shit ever since he attacked Earth, remember? He used it to cut off Ozaru Gohan's tail.
The movies tend to use the stiff that Toriyama never bothers bringing up again, like Namekians being able to grow gigantic, or Namekians having highly sensitive ears, or Namekians being able to stretch their limbs... or just Namekians in general, really.
Techniques that were pretty much a one-&-done tend to show up pretty frequently in the movies, cause they're not directed by Toriyama & just filler, the cool attacks people wanted to see again tend to show up, like the Dragon Fist.
A bit of trivia that probably hasn't been covered in the comments by now: the song "Damnation", which was used for Meta-Cooler's regeneration, has previously seen use in "MEGAS XLR" for an antagonist who had the same shtick.

I never noticed, but Kaiser really went all out for the transitions on this one. During the fight with Cooler and the robots, every hit that gets cut on leads into a similar hit. It gives the cuts a feeling of continual momentum.

Yes that is David eddings, (the voice of claptrap) they couldn't say he was that character at the time due to legal issues with gear box, but they eventually confirmed it.
1:30 I find it still to this day, very strange that Namekians dont eat, despite the fact we've seen King Piccolo and Piccolo Jr himself both eat foods. On their home world I can kinda understand with all the green water probably being full of plankton or something like that being a possible explanation, but even the official release of DBZ it just became Namekians don't eat when we say otherwise in Dragon Ball.

They don't NEED to eat, but they can. Piccolo eats sometimes because he's lived on Earth his entire life.
They can eat, but their bodies can get all the nutrients they need to survive just from sunlight and water.
The Nameless Namekian originally had to eat because the area he was stuck in had little water and poor sunlight, and Kami and Piccolo both continued doing that until realizing that they didn't have to.

@@SortaStupid 1 i have ad blocker so i dont get ads. 2 putting it in the middle of the video is obnoxious and serves only to annoy people. and that leads to people not supporting you since they would dislike you. sure not everyone would be annoyed but still a large amount would. you guys basically lose subscribers by throwing your plug in the middle of the video and interrupting the video. overall its just a stupid idea. you should smack the one who came up with it.
