Yeah the writers of tfs hated this original version of the special because it made bardock suddenly some sort of savior as well as the time travel bullshit. This version is much more agreeable to me.
@@sugartoothYT That's the part i didn't mind, if it had been done in another manner. Like if bardock were in hell and attained it there, then that would be pretty cool in my opinion. The other two things throw me way off though.
@@TrueHavoc13 to me, itd be pretty cool if whis was sent on orders from beerus to teleport Bardock back in time, to ensure the creation of the saiyan race and ensure the timeline where planet Vegeta is destroyed. Would make sense, because if Chilled were to live, things would definitely be different and of course as Beerus wants someone else to destroy stuff because he's lazy.

I love the idea that Bardock goes super Saiyin because he’s pissed at how stupid the plot is.
vegeta was the one who said bardock was the inventor of the fake moon stating "he was an average fighter, but a brilliant scientist."
What's even worse is the fact him being a scientist is non-canon, they did that in order to make Goku, as a character, similar to Superman

Manuel Diaz Yeah, that was done because the people at Funimation/4Kids (whoever was dubbing DBZ back in the late 90’s) felt Goku’s original character wouldn’t be received well in the West due to his inherent selfishness at simply wanting to fight strong opponents, so he was turned anime Superman. And this is no more apparent than SSJ Goku’s speech to Frieza in the original English dub. View that, listen to the Japanese speech (with Eng subs), and it’s almost night and day. They would also make other more child-friendly revisions such as Mystic/Ultimate Gohan calling Super Buu a “retard” being changed to entirely different dialogue in the English Dub.
All Frieza’s minions are named after things you keep in a refrigerator, e.g. Burter=butter. All of Toriyama’s character names are puns. The saiyans are all named for vegetables; the gods and angels, alcohol; and all of Bulma’s family, bottom garments.
No. Vegeta and Bulma's daughter is named Bra. That's underwear, yes, but for the chest.
It actually makes evolutionary sense that if a punch the stomach makes them pregnant they evolve into a warrior race

Although I love all this Abridged special, Bardock being the origin of "Oh Crapbaskets" is my favorite part, I love that they included that because its shows they payed enough attention to do it
Except he's really not. Considering this DBZA special is based around it being a dream of Gohan's, that's probably why Bardock was written with "Crapbaskets."

Yeah the Thumbnail does have SSJ Bardock for some reason but it is the reaction to the first Bardock special

18:07 Xenoverse and whatever the Xbox360 game was Raging//Burst limit I dont remember there was 2 if them though, and they had some characters like that SSJ3 Vegeta and Broly other weird or random stuff which was neat to just play or have as, and Dokkan Battle is a pretty fun little Mobile game if you guys really like DBZ and want an easy mobile game, its kinda like a Bejewelded/Tetris type game where you build teams from random cards you pull and they get rotated in between.

Xenoverse the video game is based on dragon ball legends, the manga not the video game. and bardock goes super Saiyan 3 so he is a playable character once you play as him in the story. Hes like fighting this guy outside of time and space and he goes super Saiyan then super Saiyan 2 and then super Saiyan 3
