The Ork's in have the greatest ship models in my opinion. They aren't great in terms of performance, but I love the ramshackle, Mad Max aesthetic. Whoever designed them did a fantastic job.

Hey Gersh what about the Black Stone Arks like the one Abadon used, from what we know these Arks were created by the same ancient race that created the Orks right? So from the look of them and their description, they almost seem like an equivalent of a Space hulk , and maybe the Orks once battled the Necrons with this massive weapon Ark.

Not working is an odd concept for ork tech. My thesis is that Ork repulsors 'don't work' for the simple reason that no Ork ever wants to slow down.
Thank you so much for posting on this topic. I've actually played a fair bit of BFG, and even more of the more balanced fan edition: Battlefleet Gothic: Expanded Revised (BFGXR). I've always love playing orks. The relatively low cost of terror ships can guarantee attack craft superiority. This combined with the versatility of fighta-bommas ( which count as both so you don't have to worry about balancing your bomber swarms with fighter escorts) makes orks my cup of tea.

They can. There is a Vostrain Folk tale of an old man who found a frozen ork which melted and terrorized the town.

Question 3: Any idea what for are those little shields on Terminator Armor? They're located on the armors torso/part of left hand of the suit(at least in plastic models?), "covering" the area where most humans got a heart. Is it to show heraldry, protect the dude or just for shit and giggles like "Son, heres yet another layer of protection for Your already formidable suit, wear it always above Your heart, coz You know son, Emperor protects :P " ? Keep the awesome work going ^^
comes from actual armor. they would cover the gap between the armpit region, they became more elaborate as armor was adapted for tilting/jousting.
