- 4th of July garden time! Lots of new blooms are opening and plants are filled out for summer. Planted the Trautman Juniper and up next will plant the Degroot's Spire Arborvitae, or as I like to call it, I Am Groot Arborvitae.
Your garden is amazing! Love all the texture and colour
@@maureenmccrackin6933 Thank you so much! 💜
Always smile to see your upload Renee from South Dakota
Thank you! 😊 And hello from your Minnesota neighbor!
New to watching your channel and throughly enjoyed the garden tour. Absolutely gorgeous, you have done a fantastic job creating colors and textures. Subscribed and look forward to watching more! Thank you for showing us!

Beautiful garden❤
Our city is under water restrictions. I wish we had more rain here.
That was us the last 3 years as well. I'm very grateful for the rain this year! It's so frustrating when you just want some rain and it just won't come!
I do the same camouflaging of my gold bleeding hearts, but with Sum & Substance hostas. Looking at your Sun King aralia makes me think that plant might be a better option. I have a few of those, and they're easily 4 ft tall with all the rain, as are the bleeding hearts. May try that combo next year. Your garden is looking fabulous!
Thank you! After a couple years of seeing that dying bleeding heart foliage followed by a bare spot I figured I needed something taller to camouflage it. 😊
Everything is so lush! Curious- where do you usually go to get your clearance plants?
Thank you! Right now most of the clearance annuals are from the Frattalone's Ace Hardware in Arden Hills at 75% off. I got some at 25% off from Lillydale Garden Center and a handful from Garden City Greenhouses tents around town for about 30% off. Perennials are usually from Gerten's clearance section or late in the season either Garden City tents or Bachman's, usually September or October.
What is the name of your white yarrow? It’s quite beautiful. I typically grow medicinal white yarrow but would love to grow that one as well.
That one is Noblessa Yarrow. I believe Peter Cottontail Yarrow is another cultivar that is similar. It is very low maintenance, I just put supports around it so it doesn't flop too much on top of other plants around it. 😊
@@laurelrosegardens6454Thank you… I truly appreciate your response. :). It’s so beautiful… I loved it on another video when you mentioned it. Beautiful garden… 😀
