We so agree with Michael! Screening and privacy are paramount. One of the first things we did in our back garden was plant bamboo and pin oaks to block views of our neighbours' houses.
He is good at what he does. He paid attention to every little detail. I know he loves what he does ❤😊

I love talking about a master plan that can be done in phases. I too struggle with wanting it ALL to get done, but the truth is it takes both time and money to accomplish projects. I sometimes think about putting on blinders like what horses wear when they are plowing or pulling a cart, so I don’t focus on what I can’t do yet, but focus on what I can do.
Paradise for these people. What a gift!

I'm here for the gardening videos but I just love these as well . This is such a lovely and dreamy garden. Didn't see the master plan though.
I love how you showed the garden 'unfinished'. Its so much more achievable when you think of it in smaller steps and not just an overwhelming giant thing that you can't fathom how you will ever have the time or money to afford to do it. My family built our home over 12 years ago so we started from a blank slate and the garden is still a work in progress which has developed and changed as our kids have grown up and our needs are changing. One thing I found made the most impact in my garden was to plant a lot of the same thing to fill in the blank areas which also makes the whole garden more cohesive.

Thank you to the owners for sharing this fabulous back yard. Michael I wish you were here in Florida! But, you said something the homeowners said," they felt like they were in a fish bowl and everyone was looking at them." That is where I am at now. So, I think I will be call a landscape designer for consultation. I need HOA approval for everything I do.

This is amazing. I'm in awe of the amazing garden and property. Painting the house makes it look so much better, it just pops. I also love that dark brown fence color and I'm not much of a fan of brown but that dark brown really works.

Thanks for another wonderful trip through your garden! Now my Sunday can begin. I wanted to share that those pop-up mesh butterfly containers work well, especially when you include cuttings for the caterpillars. Just pop a paper towel at the bottom and frass clean up is a snap!
