Now I know why Sir Alex Ferguson didn't like him. He was too timid with his passing. There was no imagination. Always looked for the safe option. Players like Scholes, Carrick & Giggs were more threatening in possession
No he's similar to Keane. You can't tell Sir Alex hate Keane because of his style.
Mate did Scholes, Carrick or Giggs ever get around the pitch like that. Hargreaves wasn't a playmaker. More like Kante or Matuidi. He would sprint around the midfield for 90 minutes.

@@simplyballing1592 Paul Scholes was not even half the player that Owen Hargreaves was. And as far as timidity, Scholes was so limited in talent that he played a very, very conservative game, bereft of excitement.
