Her attitude is horrible, she’s single for a reason, she’s toxic. Years ago at a family gathering I was sitting with my back to a table of several divorced women. It was hilarious hearing them criticizing every single man who walked in the room but when approached they were sweet as could be. They were giving relationship advice to 2 young girls and it was the type of advice that guaranteed they would be single for a long time. I was the B.B.Q chef so later on when they came to get food I asked them a question. If I was bankrupt would you take financial advice from me ? Or if I was a prostitute would you take advice on morals from me ? They couldn’t stop laughing , so I asked them why would you listen to women who have been divorced multiple times and single and can’t keep a man ! Be careful who you listen to in life , especially when that person has failed repeatedly in that particular area ..

I saw this clip yesterday and was wondering if that was Donni Wiggins in this clip. Looking at it again, yep, it's 💯 her.
Her tone and demeanor was too much, non feminine, and disrespectful. She is what the sisterhood would call a "Boss Chick" since she's a higher earner, entrepreneur and independent minded.
Yet no respectable man would want to be with a attitude like that long-term because it emasculating to men. She doesn't know how to shut off the boss chick mentality when seeking or in a relationship. I hope she's not teaching her daughter the same. Because children don't only watch what you say; they also watch what their parents and elders do.

If I was to treat myself to this big fancy restaurant it doesn't determine my worth in myself because I know my worth before I treated myself to that restaurant I choose to treat myself as treat. If a man taking you to this fancy restaurant on the first date you ought to be concern what do you want from me. Other women need to read women like that.

I get what she meant. If he had just took her out on a coffee date there wouldn’t have been a problem. The comment is what she had a problem with. I took a woman out and she told me that she usually order the most expensive thing on the menu. In another situation a woman told me I had to wait 90 days to have sex. I didn’t need to know that all she had to do was just do that and not tell me. I’m her side on this one.

@SB , a continuation of the convo last night. I know im broken, I have no need or want to impress on any of these women. After 2 long-term relationships, after what i observed/experienced, it left me jaded. All of the chaos that came after is my fault, and as a responsible member of society, it is my job to not let my experience cause another pain, and the only way to do that is to stay single.

My first date was to the movies and that did not pan out so we just walked and talked in a grocery store. 13 years married going strong with a toddler and hoping for 1 more. We had a few pieces to pick up in our lives but we did it together. How can one "see" anything out the gate. You will be typically single and typically alone for the rest of your life. People think that they are going on these platforms and really saying something. No...the only thing that you are doing is lowering your value by consistently being an unbearable person.

A man saying that he typically takes women on coffee dates is sending a clear message that he sees all women as the same and not worth investing in. That's a turnoff. Besides, coffee dates are generic and awkward. Most of all, they aren't traditional. Dates were always meant to be intimate and fun. It's hard to imagine having a good time at a coffee shop. Take her to a church function, go swimming or on a group date. Men say they're seeking traditional women but our grandparents didn't go on coffee dates.
A date is also valuable when it is intimate and is exclusively an opportunity to get to know the other person with conversation face to face. 🤷🏾♂️🤔
A coffee date is more of a meet up. You meet to feel each other out and see if they are someone you want to get dressed for. If you don't think the vibe/feeling is right then you go separate ways. If everything is as good as it was over the phone (I've met many women that were shy/awkward in person but not on the phone) then you can schedule a real date. Coffee, drinks or ice cream is a good meet up to feel each other out for a real date.
I'll bet that dating 100 years ago up to the 1980's was about a man and woman were interested in each other, they exchanged phone numbers, they talked on the phone and wrote letters to each other BEFORE they went out on a dinner date. You don't know what you are talking about. People actually got to know each other for at least 2-3 weeks before they went out on a dinner date or to the movies or dancing. And let's not forget a very important part: a teenager/young man actually MET HER PARENTS before it was okay to go out.
