The person who uttered those words may be an ubar driver mostly from a certain African countries. So they think because they came first and they think that African americans come to take their jobs which they too took from South Africans.
90% of us South Africans love African Americans because they have been exposed to different ways of life. Whoaw their accent kills me. We love them dearly . African Americans are an undiscovered version of us. Welcome home brothers and sisters.
South Africans we wanna learn certain things from them although they too wanna know what it means to be an African. In fact they should have come long ago. We really admire them.
Thats why when an African American is in South Africa he or she does not see a vast difference than being in Miami Florida.

Yeah, from your keyboard you seem to know more about the driver than your own fellow South African who was there and who seems more knowledgeable about the division of opinions among South Africans about African Americans.
From there you made a diversion to your made-up narrative of other Africans taking over your jobs, a narrative you use to start your Dudula and xenophobic attacks against your own fellow Africans trying to eke out a living amongst you.
But the Indians, Pakistanis, Jews, Europeans, Arabs and Chinese are all over controlling your economic resources and siphoning them away to the countries of their loyalties. Their cartels run the guns and dr*gs business in South Africa, which they give you SAns to destroy yourselves. What have you done to the Gupta brothers that stole about $800M from S Africa? But your daily obsession is your fellow Africans who open up small shops to sell their wares.
It's only a matter of time and you will beam your hateful searchlight on the African Americans, as you already do to your fellow continental Africans. Your fellow South African here have already hinted that.

One thing I have learned about African Americans is that we should not talk badly about our country, we have the best counrty and people trully appreciate our beautiful country. I dont know where this gentleman lives, thanks fore educating him.

Interesting that people who are outside from South Africa and just migrated from Ghana or Nigeria and now residing in the country can be a voice about what South Africans think? Most Uber drivers are migrants! African Americans are the MOST loved and cherished in South Africa out of all people

It's now a trend among some African countries to deflect and blame issues in their countries to migrants from other African countries. Interesting

The sister has really put things into perspective for this man. He was trying to impress her by talking down SA. Ive never been to the states by from what i read and hear from the AA or Americans in general, it is as hectic as SA or even more. Indeed crime is everywhere and i think as SAns, especially black SAns we're made to believe that SA is the worst country on earth. But im glad sister Sbu wasn't biased in favour of the US. She just spoke the truth.

I love your response to the Uber driver . Yes it's true , once you learn about people's history, culture and who they are it's easy to embrace them .
About taking a taxi in a different country. One young man had so many negative things to say about South Africans . I realised that he doesn't know where we come from and what is the agreement we have with our government. And in that country I met people who are more patriotic to South Africa than I am 😂.
It brings me joy to see our brothers and sisters taking a bold step to visit or contemplate to reside in South Africa.
I understand media people make money about reporting the bad news. I once saw an old lady being mishandled by the cops, and she had a medical condition, I wished she could just move here , where she will be appreciated and respected. Same as the army Major who was pepper sprayed at the gas station. I was livid for days.
Once a person realises that we share the same DNA , their attitude towards you changes.

I can appreciate how you broken it down to the brother. I hope he understands, not all of us are bad, like not all South Africans are good. Oh, by the way, I love the house in this video better than the very last house you showed on a previous video. The only issue I have is the stairs almost meeting the door, but everything else is very modern/fly.

Its sad but reality. I think most countries are like this. You have some that are welcoming and you have some that are like go back to your country! Heck i moved to a different state and have had people say go back to your state 😂
