Once I was called for jury selection regarding a vehicle related trial. When I was asked about my opinion on Florida drivers I responded with " I think the sun fries everyone's brains. People drive crazy down here"! Unsurprisingly, I was not picked😆😂

Majority of car accidents due to drivers negligent and rarely someone gets injured or killed always shocks me. More than half on these people on the road should be permanently banned from driving on how insanely careless they are that an object that could easily kill you and others on the spot. The justice system don’t give a fuck at all till someone dies from the accident and find out the reckless driver have multiple infractions on record. Have anyone learned last year with the ‘Benz lady driver have killed 6 innocent people because her boyfriend broke up with her, and she had 13 driving infractions on her record (Assume that all of the 13 accidents was her at-fault) and now decided to lock her up AFTER she purposely killed 6 people with her intention if she dies or not?

Seems like it...The clip with Marco, i dont know the rules in Florida, but what he did was a textbook example of why it is illegal to overtake cars to the right here.
It is so dangerous and causes many accidents, even here, where it is not even legal.
My youngest daughter learned to drive while in Montana. after she got her license, we got orders to be stationed at Tampa FL. She drove the four day trip pulling a trailer. Once in FL, she refused to drive here due to all the bad drivers. About a month after arriving, she was in a four car crash. The lead car did a panic stop. She was the second car and got stopped, but the third and forth cars failed to brake shoving her into the lead car.
Since then, four of my vehicles have been hit by inattentive drivers.
My older sister got a pretty nice civic as a first car which got totaled by an inattentive, unlicensed driver in a *borrowed* pickup pulling out in front of her from a shopping center. She had just moved out of my parents house and had only been living in Florida for two months before the accident. Had to downgrade to a pretty run down Camry with a blown motor.
she was following too close. if you are close enough to hit the car infront of you in an accident you are technically at fault, in your drivers test they tell you the correct space to give the car infront of you incase this happens. if you dont give proper space to slow yourself down to a halt this can happen.

Lived in FLA all my life. I've been rear-ended four times.
Several lifetimes ago, my family did "the Disney thing" by taking the Auto Train down to Florida, then driving around locally. We didn't get involved in any accidents but that's mainly because my father was a really good driver with amazing peripheral vision. I think we witnessed our first example of "driver's license from a CrackerJack box" behavior less than a mile from the station in Sanford, and were treated to a steady diet of such views for our entire time there.

Just moved to florida for an internship and it’s wild down here, stay safe y’all.
I live in and deliver DoorDash in Florida regularly, so I see a lot of horrible drivers on the road. Seriously, people here do not know how to drive. Most commonly people block both lanes by going the exact same speed, go 10 under in the left lane, pull out and cut off people without caring at all, text and drive, etc. And then there are the crazy lifted truck drivers who will literally follow you at 5 feet off your bumper. I HATE DRIVING HERE!
YESSS BROOO!! I have anger issues with how many people block both lanes by driving the same speed, on god I start tailgating their ass and flashing if it goes on for too long. On right lane that also go straight, so many impatient drivers, especially trucks, will full on drive on the sidewalk to make the right turn. I 1000% have prejudice against Altima’s, absolute worst careless drivers.
New York in Albany is worse than NYC drivers. I live in NYC and my dad had been driving in 2014 and got hit by a BMW on I 87 south in Hudson, NY.

Isn't the person turning in that clip also partially at fault because technically they ran the red light as well. I could be wrong but you are not supposed to wait in the intersection when turning across traffic.
Nevermind, I was wrong.
They did turn from a lane meant to go straight only. They crossed many lanes of traffic to turn left in a hurry, trying to avoid all the cars they were cutting off and not thinking about whether it was clear to turn left or if it was still green. The camry was overloaded with tasks and didn't see the Honda

Great start with the first clip where the witness with the dashcam is not stopping to help. Even if two other cars are stopping, at least check if they need more help. Two people helping is never enough, especially if the accident is severe.

When someone made unsafe lane change, I will only apply brake. I will not swerve as if I do that and I hit somebody else, it is my fault. Simple rule.

#16 Marco changed lanes in the intersection, which is illegal in Florida. He was at least 50% responsible for the accident...probably more.

5:50 #14 Tyler was totally 100% at fault for that near miss, he was not paying attention and responding properly to changing traffic. There was no “other driver swerved” nonsense either, Tyler did the swerving here, into the ambulance’s lane. Oh, and the ambulance wasn’t in his blind spot.. Tyler just didn’t look, nor did he have any situational awareness to remember the ambulance was somewhere on his right rear. Tyler is a lucky bad driver.

One time I was driving home from school my senior year (in Texas), with my younger brother in the passenger seat on his phone, and somebody on the other side of the highway made a u-turn in front of me. Except they went wide for some reason, stopped ON THE HIGHWAY, and REVERSED, and I of course emergency braked. I was going, "what are you doing?" at them, my usual mild "road rage", and as they finished turning around to reveal their license plate, I FULLY expected to see a Texas or California plate (both states have terrible drivers lol). Then the license plate was revealed, and I just exclaimed, "FLORIDA?!" 🤣 That's when my brother looked up wondering why I was shouting about Florida 😂 (He prefers to look away when I have to emergency brake, it's less anxiety-inducing for him and I homestly don't blame him lol)

I moved to Florida from Los Angeles 6 years ago. The driving out here is beyond words...........a complete horror show. Thus, my car insurance is terribly expensive. I've already been hit in Orlando by a kid on her cell phone. :(

I do traffic management/maintenance on all these crazy roads in Florida at night. I'll tell you these people don't care anymore. They see me setting up lane closures and speed up and veer towards me.

As a person who was born in Florida, I appreciate the commentary. As a person who currently lives in Georgia for most of my life, I'm glad to not drive in Florida cause I know how intense Florida drivers can be.

I experienced the same thing as #14 when we were in Orlando for vacation, we stopped in time but our hearts were literally about to jump out, it was so scary…. People driving in Florida are another breed…. 😢

Florida is the scariest place I’ve ever driven. It’s like a law that you can run the red light for the first 5 seconds of it being red but sometimes it’s more of a guideline and they’ll run it half way through the red light.

Upon slowing it down to .25x speed, the Honda technically entered the intersection whilst the light was still yellow. The other sedan was most likely cited.
At best your "technically" was a really stale yellow light. In some/lots of states you are required to stop on a yellow if safe to do so. The car going straight had LOTS of warning/time to stop for the yellow so it should have and if in one of those states where required to stop is responsible for, or for most, of the accident.
Nice once I was in a crash sorry that I have no footage in FL.

recently moved to florida and i must say this is the worst set of people driving on majority straight roads i’ve ever seen i see a minimum of 12 accidents a day
As a floridian, I went to Kentucky for 4 months and didn't get used to Miami traffic and drivers again.
I think somebody was driving that borrowed car while they were intoxicated.

Thank you - I like your videos; I have learned a lot. It seems several submitters could avoid the incident by driving slower, respect the lights or horn or giving more room to others. It is probably better to report their lousy behavior with the video. Oh well - BTW, where could I get a t-shirt or sticker with the slogan "Wham Bam TeslaCam"?
A lot of Florida roads don't have a shoulder, seem a bit narrower, too.

that's Front beach Rd Panama City beach. PCB get a lot of visitors from Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Thats why it's called the Redneck Riveria. Or we call it LA. Lower Alabama .
I totaled two vehicles in Wesley Chapel. First one I still don’t believe was my fault. But, the second was. However, I refuse to drive there anymore. Too many crazy people that love to speed

It's unbelievable that the propane company didn't see the seriousness of the situation. If the submitter had collided with the propane truck, the consequences could have been far worse than just a near miss.

At 5:07 that was the person with the Camera's fault. He changed lanes IN AN INTERSECTION which is illegal for this reason.
