Getting an insurance company to do their job isn't being a Karen.
Me
What is this “Karen” I hear so often?
@@jamesdennis2058 Did you just crawl out from under your rock?
@@ranlive1maybe he's a younger gentleman or not using the internet on a regular basis. Instead of shaming him, why don't you just explain it, if you are so knowledgeable about it
As someone Who is currently dealing with 2 different pain in the ass insurance companies…I 100% agree.
Tamir should have pressed charges. Those teens need to learn that doing stupid and wrong things carries consequences.
Also y’all and your constant encouragement ended up influencing me to get a Dashcam, though I hope to only ever submit a video if I catch a critter doing something cool or crazy
i would've im a nice person if you stay on my good side but show me your bad side im going to yell at you or punch you (like i do to my neighbors)
@@MrPaxio I’d hardly consider a Dashcam to be safety gear. It’s more in the category of CYA.
Lady. Kids are kids . Be glad they doing that instead of robbing people , no damage no foul
@@noahshields507 Hell no I press charges 100% just because they are kids doesnt get them a free pass to be shitheads.
Idk, usually a DA won’t file charges for it unless if there actually was damage. You can maybe file charges for assault and mischief but it’s hard to prove the threat of bodily harm here since they’re inside the vehicle. I was in a position like this before and I made a report with the police on it but they got back to me months after offering to pursue charges, which I declined because of how long it took, I was also out of town for college at the time so I did not want to waste my time on it.
#18 Proceed with a criminal complaint if the police will allow even if there was no damage. Tamir has to clean egg off quickly to prevent paint damage.
Whether there's damage or not, it's still vandalism. Letting the kids off the hook may make them braver so next time they use harder objects.
if they tried that with me id be the one facing criminal charges
It's assault. He was put in fear for his safety.
I still find it crazy that people don't know how corrosive egg whites and yolk are to paint and metals, and that's ignoring the small amount of damage from the eggshell
#18 eggs today rocks tomorrow, in the US a couple of kids tossed rocks onto cars going under a bridge, it killed a guy's wife in the passenger seat and she was pregnant if I remember correctly. there were too many kids out there to think at some point they wouldn't escalate to more criminal behavior whether it's rocks, robbery or making someone panic and drive off the road.
Many teenagers are stupid and it only takes one of the others to do something that gets the whole bunch in major trouble. I know, I was a teenager many moons ago and did stupid things though not like that and not hurting anyone but myself.
Unfortunately not only on the US, it's a "trend" worldwide. Someone killed someone throwing a rock from a highway bridge down on the highway too in Denmark, never caught the guy. At one time they had over 11 calls about throwing rocks from a highway bridge on a single day. It peaked in 2016 with 110 total cases that year.
Kids as young as 10 were doing it.
This honestly reminds me of the I-10 shootings in Phoenix, in 2015. We don't know who did it, and it was mostly bullets shot at cars, and three more were unspecified projectiles. There were three 18-year-olds who copied these attacks by using slingshots. Thankfully, no one was killed, only one injured. Totally had forgotten about that event.
Pretty much 90% of the popularity of murder cases involve teens 💀
A while back, on Long Island, some kids threw a frozen turkey off a bridge over the LIE. A woman was killed when the turkey hit her windshield.
The usual susepcts.
I was driving from Dallas to Corpus and was right beside a semi that blew a tire. I was right beside the tire. It was so loud I jumped. Underwear check aisle 5!
@@Veshremy725Veshremy Lived in Dallas from 1997 to 2014. Now back home in Maine. It sounds like you guys had a hot summer.
Hello! I'm from the Forney area and it's rather quite roomy here but the traffic here during the middle of the day is fucking bad... I love speeding on the highway!
@@gracielarojas3200 Neat. You may know a cousin in-law of mine. He's David Vickers. He was a teacher and also big in the South Texas re-enactor scene.
Hunter (#20), being late for work is not more important than your life and other road users. If you died, your work would not give a damn nor will they look after your family.
right? like every place i've ever worked at has always said if you're late you're late. Speeding to work ain't gonna change that
11:46 I live in Springs and let me tell you that turn is notorious for crashes. A few months ago a semi did the same thing and flipped over onto the other side into oncoming traffic. Speed limit there also turns from 75 to 65 about a quarter mile back so drivers are still flying
So it's an idiot magnet?
I am a bit shocked at who was at fault as I thought it would be the submitter.
The pick up driver might had been found at fault due to him reversing in the middle of the road.
Agreed. Snow plow drivers often do crazy stuff to get the job done, but I guess they're technically not allowed to encroach upon the highway. He should have figured out another way to clear that snow without being in the travel lane.
Yeah hunter should have had control of his vehicle, he admitted he was speeding on a snowy road I mean he was at fault. He hit something he should have had control 9f his vehicle . The truck driver must have saulid he caused it
Great video as usual! For #1, how was Hunter not found to be at fault?
I'm wondering the same. Didn't the pick up have the right of way? What if Hunter had just rear-ended them instead? Doesn't make sense to me.
It’s #20, the clip are numbered in descending order from #20 to #1.
It probably has something to do with the pickup reversing on the highway, which is dangerous even in optimal conditions
@@anamateurguitarplayer3847not to mention his reverse lights were way too bright. They were probably off road lights.
I’m here to ask the same thing
1:11 Can someone explain why the pickup driver was found to be at fault.
I bet the cammer lied when he submitted it to wham bam. No way his insurance found him not at fault.
@@GingerGoneWild I suspect the same thing. Since there is no way they did not find the cammer's driving to be the main contributing factor.
I remember seeing a similar video, where they explained that in some states, it is illegal to reverse on a highway for any reason. Other states it is illegal to reverse on a highway unless it is safe to do so... In the latter case (as in the other video), the fact that the reversing vehicle was struck, implied it was not safe to reverse, and was found at fault. Just because the other guy was speeding and being an idiot, doesn't excuse you from your duties to check for traffic... Just like when you make an unprotected left, assume the other guy is an idiot, and determine if you can safely make your maneuver without relying on the other driver doing anything. If you have to rely on the other driver taking corrective actions, it is not safe to perform your maneuver.
@@TechSavvyOppa Oh, I didn't realise they said the other driver had reversed.
I don't linger beside trucks, because I was a passenger riding beside a truck one day, and the tire exploded right beside me. No damage to the vehicle I was in, but it sure scared the crap out of me! It drives me crazy when someone is just cruising along, taking their time, when passing a truck.
I’m the same way. I was driving past a semi-truck on the highway a couple months back when all of a sudden the truck started to serve into my lane and I had to blast my horn to avoid a collision. Thankfully I was in my grandmas car which is newer and has safety features that helped me out as well!
Tamir didn't press charges because they accidentally didn't damage his car. Well maybe they can do a better job damaging the next car.
California Vehicle Code § 23110 VC makes it a crime to throw any substance at a vehicle (or any occupant in a vehicle). Cops wouldn’t be able to do anything to those BLM protesters either way since they'll be considered the bad guys.
I'm curious what the charges would have been. Probably a different charge if they did cause damage so might as well press on with the crime they did commit
@@AviSpira Threatening, terroristic threats, assault. If the driver ran over and killed the person raising their arm in a threatening jester as they tried to drive by would be, by law not at fault.
Can someone help me understand the first clip here in terms of determining fault as my first instinct after seeing this clip and hearing the result is to disagree with the insurance company’s decision.
Definitely hunter did not have control of his vehicle was speeding in the snow and hit a truck he's at fault something isn't right about the supposed insurance decision that you are 100% correct
I gotta know how hunter wasn't found at fault when the dash cam literally caught him speeding on icy, wet roads and not really paying attention? Did the pick up driver do something i'm just not aware of? like how? Hunter should have been found at fault for sure with that evidence alone
In some states it is illegal to reverse on a highway for any reason. In many states, it is illegal to reverse on a highway unless it is safe to do so... Assuming the latter case, getting smacked, implies it wasn't safe to reverse at the time of the collision. Pickup driver should've been able to judge the speed/distance of the approaching vehicle, especially given the road conditions. At least that's my guess if the pickup was found at fault.
#14
That happened to a friend of mine in his Nissan Frontier.
Allstate was the other insurer and they cut him a check for 5k after he threatened calling his attorney.
2500 for the bumper, 25 for “pain and agony”
Amazing video as always
#6 Police never responded, huh? Well, that is why people sometimes take the law into their own hands.
9:05 The ironic part is that, that GMC has blindspot monitoring system so the driver never looked at their mirror.
That Yukon driver did that shit on purpose. They had to of sped up to even merge in front. They saw exactly what was happening in their lane and thought “I should speed up and cut this car off like an idiot”
@@JP07izeYeah, maybe you are right.
@@_xxrod-roblox1273 I’m by no means the best driver but some people today are just arrogant drivers. They pull right out in front of you and then act like the victim when you honk at them. Roundabouts are a joke in my area. Nobody knows what the upside down red triangles mean. If someone sees you in the roundabout it’s like a race to cut you off. Semi drivers are the worst about it. They pull out in front of you simply because they have the bigger vehicle and they can
5:28 $100 to fix their bumper 🤣🤣🤣
3:32 damn, that was a long slide with brakes applied!
The power of snow
Look closer. You'll see that only the front wheel is locked up. The rear one is spinning freely. Soooo, yeah, if your car has only 1/2 of the braking system working properly....it will not stop as short as it was designed to. One of two things: either the rear system is not functioning, or the ABS unit is messed up.
@@DarkFlamageidk if you know this but rear brakes on fwd cars only provide like 20% of the total braking power.
Front wheel abs system not working.
@Tofix66 alot of abs systems don't work in the snow!!!!!! B7t that driver admitted speeding and clearly didn't have the skill for the speed on those roads...

I agree with the 'get checked out by paramedics, even of you feel fine in the moment." What you may not realize is you could be in shock, and you're just not feeling the injuries you've got.
I had a fainting spell once, and even though I went to the hospital to get checked out (as I'd never had one before and didnt know what was happening at the time), when asked about any pain, I told them I felt fine. It wasn't until 2 hours after I left the hospital (about 5 hours after the fainting spell) that my one wrist began to hurt horribly, and I found out I had a sprain.
hey Tamir, eggs will damage your paint and absolutely destroy it, that's your tip of the day from an autobody professional
#9 The only "blind spot" these days is between people's ears 🥸
Exactly. Lol 😂😂😂
8:36
Wow. 6:27 peter was honking and screaming at the car. And that was so effective it made the other driver move immediately huh?🙄🙄
He did move…kinda
12:43 thats a great parking spot the silver car has there !
The way he said Hector was amazing
It baffles me that people run red lights like that
I’m gonna get one, yesterday I watched several cars pile up on I-380 yesterday. Glad I went back for my receipt at Menards!
On the clip #2, they both had Wham Bam plates XD That's cool and hilarious.
It’s a little hard to see but if you put the picture quality on the highest setting you can see that the blind spot monitor actually was on as they was changing lanes so that further shows that they didn’t even look at the mirrors🙄 8:40
It's scary that people like that are allowed to drive 6,000 lb SUV's

How was the plow truck found at fault?
#7 had me giggling like a kid
10:10 As a Tim Horton's loving Canadian, I'm not sure why onions would even be in a double-double to begin with. Glad they weren't in this one.
#17 3:30 Look at the tire prints on the road. That car on the right probably slammed so hard on the brake that it locked up without abs kicking into it at all. His sudden turns before another collision was a result of him letting go of the brake. It is a good piece of material to know how far it takes to completely stop.
Not really. The engine exploded and left motor oil all over the ground. Kinda hard to stop on oil. Maybe if it was clean asphalt it would be good material
1:28 also don't ever "stand on the brakes" on an icy road. In this case all he had to do was move into the opposing lane to avoid the truck.
Just an FYI for anyone that goes through a similar interaction as Tamir, eggs eat through clearcoat and even paint if not cleaned within an hour or so. You want to get water on it ASAP and if you can, clean it off immediately
Hope everyone in socal stays safe from the tropical storm

5:13 Hubert, you should contact your state insurance commissioner's office if the insurance company does not make full restitution.
@1:32 no. 19 I’ve been that Karen, but I like what I describe myself as when it comes to money issues like Emmanuel, I turn into a Scottish Wench. My son totalled his car and 911 was called. The one officer put in his report that my son was under the influence, speeding(Which is such a joke because he does the speed limit and won’t go over it, whereas me and my other son are always going over it.), all due because he and his friends had gone to a concert. I was rushing to get back home and they had probably drank at the concert. Now this happened on a Friday afternoon at about 6:00 o’clock and the officer didn’t listen to all that my son was saying. It seem to be that he only heard certain words, and that’s what he put down in his report. Then two weeks after the accident he was mailed the police report and told to report to the courts two weeks from the date. The charges amounted to $1400.
NOW, this is where the Scottish Wench in me came out. Are used to work for the court reporters office for a Supreme Court and I used my skills to write up what happened and put in evidence put in a Weather report, and I put in king 5 news down in Seattle reporting about this small tornado type win that went through that area that day. And I pointed out from the police report into what actually my son was going down to Seattle to a concert on the Saturday night so they were just driving down to their hotel on Friday. If he had been drinking, why wasn’t it put down with the breathalyzer results came out to? If he was driving home, why was he driving in the southbound lane and not the northbound lane? so I found all these mistakes in the police report, and when the judge sought, she reprimanded the police officer, and he said that I must’ve been a lawyer, because of the way I wrote up how things really happened grabbed evidence and sent it all to them so my son walked away from that, not having to pay a dime.
The Scottish Wench was put away until next time. ☺️
Yay 🎉🎉🎉. Definitely a Mama 🐻. Good for you!!! Get'em girl 😮❤👍✌️🫶🤣💯.
6:30 - It looks line in Ontario the markings for the turning lane make more sense. The dashed line on your side means you merge into the turn lane, then make the turn across the solid. It's the opposite here in NC, and it never made any sense to me to do it that way since you'd have to merge over a solid line.
how is the snow plow at fault?🤔
It is important that egg is removed immediately off of car's paint.
So many Drivers (?) That cannot stop their car from swerving side to side. Thats a BASIC SKILL.

I'm curious what the data would look like for submissions in this channel and the others. I feel like I see St Louis a lot, though maybe that's because I get excited anytime I see it haha (I have a friend who lives there :) )
Peter was a real peter!
@1:16 - I'm sorry, WHAT! The insurance company found the pickup driver at fault? In what planet was the driver who was SPEEDING and behind the truck not at fault? Ah, of course, it's in the US, where common sense it appears has departed!
Seriously, in the UK if you run into the back of anyone, unless you have some pretty water-tight reason, you're automatically at fault for the accident - quite rightly too. If you're behind, you should be driving in a way and at a distance where you can stop if needed. Doing 55 in those conditions would have been bad enough, but going faster that that was reckless. Indeed in the UK the driver of the car would probably have been charged with dangerous driving too.
5:31 yes thanks to the pushbar ! You should install one if available for your vehicle
Interesting enough, Chevy's used to come with a push bar (like the older models from the '70s and '80s) but they no longer do, now I'm wondering why.
Next time Tamir 3:05 should just hit those thugs.. Easy self defence
And a long trip behind bars!
@@MarilynVirginiaGroverOfficalNot if there wasn't any cameras and they lived in a state that allowed you to run people over who are still standing in the street.
#20- I don't see how the plow guy was at fault?! #1 - speeding in slippery conditions, #2- you are supposed to have control of your vehicle at all times.#3- looks like all season tires on that car, which in most states requires snow tires in winter, & if you have all season You usually are responsible for the accident. Yes the plow was in the road, but there is enough time to stop coming over that hill in normal conditions. Besides you pump the brakes not stand on them in those kind of conditions. In my opinion the car should have been at fault. Bet he gets up earlier for work now!
Any modern car should have ABS, which will pump the brakes faster than any human could.
@tonyimboden it does, that doesn't mean you suddenly get traction to quickly stop on ice
The plow guy was at fault for two possible reasons. 1) He did something wrong, which we totally missed, or 2) the two of them talked and the driver admitted fault... which goes to the company insurance and he didn't care...
Snow tires can't help a bad driver. Also snow tires aren't required in hardly any states, because in most situations they don't make that big a difference if driving safely go begin. Driven in alot of snow and ice on all seasons never had a problem
He didn't have a blinker on

3:14 Good job Tamir! Now they know there is no penalty. Maybe next time it will be molotovs and they will be armed.
This is why you should always press charges even if you don't have any evidence to back if up, maybe the very potential of being charged with a crime would be an actual deterrent but many people are just too soft on crime.

#8: you can see some back end damage on the bumper from the white honda....so it's not their first accident, and probably not their first time running from one either. My best guess is they are either uninsured, unlicensed or both.

Viofo a119 mini2 is probably the best front cam you can get for the money. It is a lot better than most of the 4k cams and cost only a quarter of them. I got one back in June when it was first available in my area and I am so far very happy with it.
I have no sympathy for Dean. He ran the red light too. If you enter into an intersection and intend to turn left across traffic, even if the light is turning red for oncoming traffic, you must wait to see if they are going to stop.
Dean did not run a red.
@@Sprchgjeep Maybe, maybe not. But the only light I would rely on to make a left turn would be a left turn arrow. Since Dean entered the intersection on a green/yellow without a left turn signal, it is highly risky to make that turn until there is a break in traffic or the oncoming vehicles come to a stop.
@@mrtodd3620 If you enter the intersection with a green or yellow light you are not running a red. You do need to make sure the way is clear before completing your turn.
First using a name in these videos is stupid. Say #4 or put the timestamp 11:57. The only reason I remembered it was because I knew someone like you would say that. In most states/provinces you are allowed to enter the intersection on a green and wait for a break in traffic before completing your turn. So if someone's 500ft away as the light turns yellow you say he has to sit in the intersection blocking traffic until that car makes it to the line and to make sure the car stops before he gets to finish his turn. Use some common sense.
@@shaunp9592 If the oncoming car is 500 feet away, then certainly you have plenty of time to make a left turn without waiting for them to come to a stop. But if using common sense and judgment there is any chance that the oncoming car might go through the intersection, then you must wait there, even as the light turns red, to confirm what the other car will do before turning left. Left turners are at the mercy of oncoming traffic unless you have a left turn signal. They are in a subordinated position in almost all situations. That is the attitude that I take, because I care more about my car than my pride.
