What Makes A Perfect Airplane Landing?

For many obvious reasons, it appears that bad landings steal most of the attention away from silky-smooth aircraft touchdowns. The soft landing is something that pilots are generally after and achieve with pride. With this in mind, here are three of the many contributors that make or break smooth landings.

Most, if not all, airlines in the United States require us to land in the first 3,000 ft., or first third of the runway whichever is less. So if I have only a 7,500 ft runway, I would need to land in the first 2500 ft.

Landing the larger aeroplanes is pretty straightforward using the techniques that the manufacturers provide. For pilots it is the only real way to demonstrate your skills to the passengers. This is why I can’t understand the Ryan Air mentality of smashing it on to the runway time and again.

I will never forget my Ryanair landing in Kaunas, I thought my fibs will come out at the rear end from hard landing.
Still beat landing experience I have , it was Etihad air landing in Male.

Ryanair overall has bad landings. Maybe it's because their pilots are just learning to fly? I don't know the reason but almost all of the bad landings I've experienced have been on that airline.
