I think the reason why mega-latios and latias' shinies are green is because their original forms' shinies are yellow and blue, which combine into green. And their non-shiny
forms' colors combine into purple.
I never understood that for either the non-shiny and the shiny and it now makes their mega way cooler.

Honestly, I wasn't a fan initially. Moltres is probably my favorite while Zapdos just looks like a chicken. And I just flat out don't like Galarian Articuno. I like my icy boy the way he is
I wish Galarian Moltres was Dark/Fire. It still looks like a fire type! Or if it could at least learn some fire moves via TM. I hate having to pick between it and Yveltal lol smh

I have a Spinda in pokemon GO in which two of it's spots perfectly cover both it's eyes, making it look like they were intentionally placed there rather than it being random. Thats my favorite spinda form personally.

Latias and Latios mix their colors while mega evolved and that explains the green color sharing

I think that shiny sheildon and the evolution look really nice and quite different. I use to think they were too similar but after I got the shinys in pogo they grew on me a ton 💙
I double checked Bulbapedia to confirm this, and it said that smaller Pumpkaboos have more speed and less health, which slowly becomes the opposite for the larger sizes, which I’m pretty sure is true. Correct me if I’m wrong, though.

I agree so much for Leafeon being the best eeveelution, it's just so freaking cute and gorgeous, with amazing defense, attack and great speed, it would be such a great pokemon if it had a better movepool
Personally I prefer Umbreon, probably just because I love how the yellow blends with the black and the red eyes fit perfectly, the shiny is nice too.
That being said I complete see where the love for Leafeon comes from! I mean it’s adorable, for some reason I always image Leafeon doing a little head tilt, just super cute. The only thing I probably don’t like about Leafeon is it’s shiny unfortunately. Besides that 10/10 eeveelution!!!

Personally I really like how slight the difference is between normal and shiny leafeon, as both are pretty and deliver on the natural leaf colors theme, while evoking different times of year through their slight difference.
Not making the shiny autumn colors was a crime. Idk how they missed that.

Greedent used to be my least favorite but in sword and shield I caught one with belly drum on my first play through and thought it’d be funny to use as a joke but then ended up surprisingly attached and now I think it’s one of if not my number 1 favorite regional rat.
I get Bayleef’s final design was WAY different than the beta design (the beta design was a flower with a face and Chikorita + Meganium’s beta designs were nearly the same as their final versions) but it’s personally an upgrade over Meganium due to the long leaf collar.
Calyrex is my least favorite due to its appearance and its stats and movepool are underwhelming unless you make it the Shadow/Ice rider.
Goodra is my least favorite due to it not standing out much and performing the worst out of all the pseudo legendaries competitively; yet I have hopes for the Hisuian form. I like Salamence as it looks fierce to me, and it’s also a salamander dragon which completed its goal.
Alolan Dugtrio is underwhelming, and sad how even when Unfezant got Brave Bird, it doesn’t stand out compared to the other regional birds. Even Pidgeot which could’ve been like it has a mega.
You should do a video ranking version exclusives and see which ones are more or less balanced
7:20 I honestly would have thought that the worst shiny GMax was going to be Centiskorch. The only difference is its tiny legs/spikes on the sides of its body turning from black to turquoise.

The fact that, despite the channel's theme color being blue, Alex's favorite color seems to be red feels like a big anime plot twist.
Channel' s colour theme is blue because Lucario, But his favourate pokemon is Infernape. The real plot twist is that infernape doesn't have red anywhere except its flames(and the band on its head).
Alolan Dugtrio was unimpressive to me, until my wife pointed out it looks exactly like the Hanson Brothers and since then it's been my favorite alolan form because it's unreal how close they look.
I found an alpha shiny wyrdeer before. I just kept it in the box only because of its rarity.

My first ever non-lake of rage Gyarados or pokemon go shiny pokemon was Gredent and I am still so depressed about it. You hate getting these guys when you shake the trees because they steal your fruit. And then he had the audacity to be shiny. Absolutely livid.

God that Necrozma fight in USUM drove me INSANE easily one of the hardest fights in a pokemon game ever
That ultra necrozma literally made me go insane for how many attempt I did to defeat it. Hands for zoroark (had to catch one) for carrying my team.
My Decidueye killed him in 3 turns by surviving every hit with 1 HP THREE TIMES IN A ROW. Friendship in the modern games is absolutely busted

Some people say that having a legendary Pokémon as your favourite is cheating because it’s legendary, but Mewtwo will always be my favourite Pokémon of all time. Closely followed by Dragapult and Celebi. My favourite shiny Pokémon is a tie between Celebi, Genesect and Alolan Ninetales

Actually Pumpkaboo’s stats change based on it’s size, with the smallest one being the fastest and the heaviest one being the slowest and I think it’s Defense and Special Defense are best out of all the forms.
Genuinely surprised Centiscorch didn't get worst Gigantamax shiny. I have one and legit can't tell any difference. Even in its regular form the blue grey is just barely noticeable

I feel like Cosmoc not being able to learn a single HM wouldn’t make it an HM Mule? A worse HM mule is probably either something that can only learn a few HMs (A few optional/bad ones too, like flash) or an HM Mule that you get too far in the game for it to be of any use, like an HM Mule you get at victory road that can learn Cut and whirlpool (after you done every nonskippable part with them).

I think the Alolan variants are some of the coolest Pokemon in the entire series. Marowak, Ninetales, and Sandslash are some of my favorites and I like them better than the originals. Marowak is probably in my top ten, the fire/ghost is so perfect for it.
Surprised you didn't go for Emboar as Worst starter.
Also surprised you didn't go for Infernape as worst shiny.
Emboar actually has a pretty cool design imo, it's only pignite that kind of sours the entire evolution line's design. Also Emboar has a sick shiny

@@Arcticanine Not necessarily, I mean design wise it is better than chesnaught imo, and meganium maybe because they could've gone all out with it but they just replaced the sprouts with a flower. Competitively, it's choice band set can work wonders unlike meganium which is sheerly outclassed in every category by other grass starters in all other tiers, so yeah I do kinda agree with the choice of meganium as the worst starter but everyone's opinions are different so people may think otherwise.

Would the legendary Regis and Genies be classed as trios? The genies are almost a quartet because of Enamorous and the Regis are whatever you’d call a group of 6 with Regieliki, Regidrago, and Regigigas.
