- I know that this movie might not be the best, and it's not so popular, but the fight scenes are pretty decent, so I decided to make a mix out of it.

But then it didnt work. That's a big fail!
Boyka doesn't like his opponent getting up after they are seriously injured, he will get more angry and prolly kill his opponenet like he did in part 4.

Scott is the best martial arts actor of the past 20 years imo!
i just discovered him. i was thinking the exact same thing for the most part. him and Tony Jaa. though, Adkins’ movies seem more hardcore in the brutality (which i like) and he seems to have a ton of movies. i might be binge watching them soon.
Michael jai white too is a martial artist.
@@Him090 Yeah, he's good, but nothing compared to Scott Adkins

This is insane. Fucking insane. That first fight was so brutal. I love how real everything looks. BRUTAL dynamic, amazing direction of every punch and stunt. I cant believe, that Adkins can do so many insane stunts without any hit. It is well known, that they are not punching each other, but it looks so real and i can still see that contact from punches. SICK.
The only thing I don't like is how sped up it is that makes it look fake. If you watch this on a high scale 4k TV it looks really bad. The choreography is good but the actual speed is atrociously handled because of their low budget
@@ryanglacier30 That's a shame as the choreography is really nice and they worked hard on it.

@@draco_1876 It's not this flashy or choreographed.
Yea, it would've been scripted like WWE, choreographed, acted out and would've lost its sense of realism. MMA in general is a sport that integrates all types of Martial Arts disciplines. So, there isn't usually these types of quick thinking, this is why movies and real life contrast a lot.
Scott is one of my favorite actors but im not sure if he would make it far in the ufc maybe if boyka was real then yeah
I love his uppercuts
I wonder if a fighter like this would dominate today’s ufc
No, he wouldn't. As much as I love Scott Adkins in his Boyka role and all the kicks and tricks he does in the set, that way of fighting is really unpractical in the UFC reality. People need to realize that Martial Arts in movies are made to look awesome, not efficient.
@@AlefSousa017
Actually all of his kicks come from the Korean martial art taekwando which is known for have lots of really flashy kicks but they aren't seen very often in ufc but they can be found in taekwando tournaments
In fact these types of kicks are more effective than one may think
But I've seen the movies and his most powerful kicks are actually the more basic ones like side kicks and push kicks
@@agentspaniel4428 I am a 1st dan black belt in Taekwondo with a lot of years of training experience and championship medals and participations (I started when I was 8 years old and had to stop when I was 16, now I'm 24), and I can GUARANTEE you that you don't see these kind of moves in tournaments fights. Sure, Taekwondo is know for the "flashy" kicks, but not like these ones that Adkins does (who's also a Taekwondo black belt). I mean, just watch any fights from the Olympics games or any championship fights at all and tell me how many times you see kicks like these in the fights. As I said before: Martial arts in movies are made to look cool, not realistic or practical, even if they have roots in real martial arts, like Taekwondo, Capoeira or Kick Boxing.
To awnser your question
Mabye or maybe not if you're talking about Scott Adkins
Guys... There is no slipping here or proper blocking hardly so no. Plus these guys are all portrayed as heavyweights essentially meaning one shot at any time could tko/k.o you.
Doesn't include the fact that bare knuckles with trained fighters tend to break regularly since you know how to punch thru/harder than most and from training you already accumulate wear and tear.
In short, this is entertainment, not real fighting.
I love how you see how he goes from style fighting to more brutal hits fight style in the movies

Boyka has improved himself a lot.. in part 3 and 4
Boyka seems invincible against normal opponents. When it's Chambers all super skills go away.
Most of the others were not pros, which was part of why the mob needed Chambers in the ring.
That actually happens a lot in boxing where someone looks invincible against taxi drivers, and then gets messed up by someone who actually knows what they're doing.
There reason why his skills go away is because he wanted to fight him by his own game.
Would have believed Mario Yamasaki was reffing the first fight.
dear Adkins, you are undisputed legend

Wait was Scott a light heavyweight or just a heavyweight in this movie? either way he is still scary for him to move around so fast with so much muscle
For real. That's exactly what Michael Jai White said.
Maybe heavyweight, but the footage is obviously cranked and sped up (as are many martial arts films).
It was said that he was around 200lbs for this role so I will say light heavyweight.
