Today, pray for your enemies.
Big enemies or small enemies.
When someone irritates you, disappoints you, or disapproves of you...pray for them and will their good. Let yourself be vulnerable remembering that you are ultimately invulnerable in the Kingdom of God.
Make it a 'Golden Rule' day.

Saying a pearl prayer for that one who comes to mind~‘I bless you dear one.. I pray for your wellbeing.’
This not only motivated me to make this a “perfect” day, it made it seem attainable. I will never read those words the same again.
We can afford to be vulnerable and more concerned about the good of the “other” since God is He who is concerned for us and because of Him, we, in the end, are invulnerable. Great reminder!
To those in my life who seem to want what is not good for me: “I bless you.”
Father, help my heart be transformed to where that “blessing” is more natural and less effort.

Taking individual responsibility can lead to good character, then it takes integrity and courage to become vulnerable enough to love an enemy.
I bless you ____. It's so hard to say for those deep wounds of hurt and rejection. But so very freeing. Praying for your enemies, even the simple words, bless you, sets the captives free. You open the door of your own prison cell and allow God's love to fill the space hate filled before. Thank you, John, for simplifying those words of freedom.

Of course, this is not the first time I have heard "pray for your enemies." But this is the first time I have heard what to pray. When you pray for someone who has hurt you, it is easy to make the prayer about you. Please help so and so see how they hurt me, and lead them to apologize to me, LOL. But no. That is not what it means. Such a simple prayer is what we are to pray. Just pray blessings on them. Thank you, John!

Sometimes I wonder if this includes persons in politics? It can be difficult to separate the person from the political stand, but I’m working on it with God’s acceptance of the imperfect me. Our country is so divided and I want to be a small part of healing. Listening. God Help me/us to be God’s family. I’m a very small part but I can love my neighbors.
