Maldini should’ve won the 90s one instead of the 2000s one, nesta should’ve won the 2000s one. Also no mention of Elias Figueroa and Scirea in the video is crazy imo, 2 of the best defenders of all time.

when it comes to the 80s the Italian team was utterly packed with defensive legends that 1982 team alone had baresi, cabrini, collovati, bergomi, vierchowod, gentile and scirea come on that is probably one of the best defences of all time.

Unfortunately I'm old enough to remember. Baresi is the best CB I've seen in my lifetime and his apprentice wasn't bad either.

I miss a lot of brilliant defenders on your list : Krool, R. Koeman, M.Olsen, Scirea, Cabrini, Bergomi, K.H. Förster, Kohler, Brehme, Briegel, Terry, Ferdinand, Thuram, Desailly, Bossis, Vidić, Belodedici....They all were world class players
Ramos is by far the best defender of the 2010s and is easily one of the top 5 defenders of all time whether you like it or not. Apart from Beckenbauer there has never been a defender so good on all lines of the pitch with such a colossal impact as Ramos in the biggest games he carried his team like no other defender and has an unbeatable record for a defender. I think Ramos doesn't get the recognition he deserves you can hate him no problem but don't deny he's one of the best players football has ever known.

Baresi
Moore
Passarella
and it would be hard for Ramos to beat all of Cafu, Figueroa, Scirea, C. Alberto, Nesta (he's the best I've seen on TV) etc. Could be that Ramos makes the Top 10, it depends on the criteria.
Anyway he's the best defender of the 2010's and a bit ahead of Puyol as the best spanish defender of all times.
