Bitching about problems is easy and lazy when we should be doing something to prevent them every time we vote. Know the candidates, know your party, and hold your party accountable. People in the NY 3rd District were complacent, and they got exactly what they wanted - an elected representative without having to participate in basic citizenship.

It doesn't work out a lot of times but it is actually a form of freedom as we do not have to choose our candidates from the elites or well educated or even the non-criminal. It is good to HAVE options as sometimes the "bad" candidate is better. Not recently though.

I love when they do this segment, but Mike really made it more interesting. Instead of laughing at him (like the audience) everytime he tried to make sense of the objects, I listened intently, paying attention to what he was saying. He put real thought into his answers while everyone else just kind of threw a guess out there. And yeah, I'd love it if Jimmy hired him, but let's give Mike the respect he deserves (I get it that he'd be hired for laughs, but his thought process is fascinating).
