Hypixel is a really good server I'm just not a fan of Java in general, but if the likes of The Hive bucked up their game, I can see them becoming the Hypixel of Bedrock Edition as well as hitting the same player count numbers!
@@silver3363 No Hive has to do a lot more to become Hypixel of Bedrock Edition. It needs to Have Party Games, Duels & much more stuff. BTW, Cubecraft currently gets a lot more players than Hive, They get like 9000 more players than Hive at Peaks & In general stay 3000-4000 players above them.
Just fyi, bedwars only matches you up with players of similar skill up to about 10 stars, after that, anything goes. You might go up against a 500 star player when you only have 25.

Hey PotatoPie I really enjoyed the video and from a bedrock players perspective you're right but a java players perspective thing are a bit different though. I mainly play java but I went from xbox 360to Bedrock on switch to bedrock ps4 now Java. I do beve that the Hypixel monetization strategy is better than Hive but stuff like the combat is better on bedrock.
I agree with Potato with SkyWars kits. The kits make it so that people with kits can most likely kill someone without a kit very easily. And this will most likely make the new players feel demotivated. Still, Hypixel is a good server overall. Keep up the good work on the videos. 👍
As someone that used to grind Hypixel Skyblock without a rank (now I play on Bedrock mostly), I can say there is a significant pay-to-win in that game specifically. Booster cookies are probably the most obvious, but ranks also give you access to things like an increased wardrobe (for changing armor sets quickly), fast travel (for getting places quickly), and afk-protection (for afking to get rich). i would suggest you to play classic/arcade games these have some really fun casual games perfect in case you wanna just chill without actually trying hard or anything paintball, capture the wool, turbo kart racers are personally my favorite casual games

Different building mechanics which is bit frustrating the way you build in Java 3. Personally I think skywars duels and any duel game is the best for any bedrock player trying out Java 4. Java is more sweatier and more grinding with the kits etc . 5. Hive needs to add like bridging (1v1) and duels minigame type That’s all my personal experience and thoughts
i think the monetization of hypixel is one of its best aspects its one of those things i’ve never liked about most bedrock servers where the monetization is just in your face all the time like on hive everytime id log on it i didnt like being welcomed with the first thing i see being something i buy with real money. But monetization is not the only reason i dont enjoy bedrock servers much I enjoy passing time on a server and talking with people which is extremely easy to do with hypixel. And even if there’s a lot of things i still havent done on this server there’s always more to do. There’s always going to be a new housing for parkour, there’s always going to be different players in a game of skywars and there’s always going to be different fighting styles in sumo/duels. There’s a feel of variety and comfort i find in hypixel that i have a hard time with bedrock servers, especially the lack of chatting on some servers makes it feel very blank. Hypixel’s just always been a home for me to talk with people or to hang out with friends, its where i spend most of my time when im bored or just need something to keep me occupied for a long time. Ofc i have experience with pvp and java but i still have so much to learn especially with pvp. I’ve only gotten better at it in the past 2 years and i’m still improving. That is also because its hard for me to easily pick up getting good at a game. But i can still have fun even without the pvp aspect. To me as hypixel has been the only server i’ve really enjoyed myself playing i find it hard to play on bedrock servers because i dont find the same player interactions, i dont find the same sort of comfort and thats what really drives me away from bedrock.
I have recently been playing hypixel java (I normally play hive on iPad) and I think all the perks, kits, coins, gamemodes, and all of the skyblock map is very well made (although I always get mad at my friend for talking about skyblock ALL THE TIME). Just so you know the best kit in skywars is a kit called knight and in insane bc knight gives a helmet that is better than a diamond helmet, and a sword that is better than a sharp 1 diamond.
Knock back is definitely different between the two modes. In bedrock if someone is chasing you and they catch up to you a get a hit, they usually get 2 or 3 more because they don’t hit you far enough away.
i have never played bedrock and mainly play java on hypixel, i agree with all the points made in this video. and about knockback on hypixel, its very different from vanilla java minecraft.
I would like to clarify that the knockback is usually exclusive to hypixel if you to servers like minemen club or velt pvp you will see knockback on a more stable level comparable to bedrock
One problem I do have with hypixel is that there is technically a lot of games but because the bedwars, skywars, and sky block are so popular there are low player counts for the other games and longer waits
Okay, so, I am a Bedrock Edition player as well. I have very rarely played Java, but, from what atleast I know, Hypixel is a good server and has many fun gamemodes like: Skywars, Bedwars, Murder Mystery, Skyblock along with others.
For me hypixel is fun even if I'm very bad and I'm very good at the hive bedrock and hypixel for me is fun because I die of many dumb ways but in skyblck I like it is my favorite I have 900 of life and in bedrock I don't know any game like hypixel skyblock even nether games.
