Cuyahoga Chuggin': 765 Steam in the Valley 2017
In September of 2017, Midwest Zephyr Media made the very first visit to the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad in the Cleveland, Ohio area. Of course it came at a great time as the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society's Nickel Plate Road 765 was also visiting as part of the annual Steam in the Valley! From Independence to Akron, you'll admire the 1944 Berkshire in action as she chugs her way through the National Park of the Cuyahoga Valley.

Nice spacious cab, a pretty clean fire, for a small Locomotive and a bit of a feminine touch with the Cylinder Cocks. The Videos I have seen of this outfit never did justice to the Movie Star Lovely Ladies who appear to operate it very well. This one was entertaining.

I am a 4th generation Q family member…a lot of my relatives worked for the Q… I was born in Burlington. The E5s were the most elegant of the Zephyrs. I rode the Nebraska many times going to Lincoln to visit my Nebraska relatives. Always a grea5 ride.
