The one thing that I cannot understand or maybe I didn’t hear you explain it was how could they leave this house and walk away for four years knowing it was like that. I guess I don’t understand autism and ADHD and PTSD as well as I thought. I suffer from anxiety and depression and sometimes it’s hard to wash a dish. But to leave it for four years is something I don’t understand. I guess it is true that you have to walk a mile in someone else’s shoes in order to understand why they do what they do. God bless you for your services. I’ll continue to watch your videosbecause you help so many people out of their depression. KAT from Birmingham, Alabama.

OMG!!Congratulations to all of you. Hey grandpa, my second granddaughter will be here in August as well. It’s such an amazing blessing and the love is beyond anything that I can put into words. ❤❤

I truly admire what you do for folks. Years ago in another city a friend and I would go to homes that had sales and normally estate people come in and do their thing but sometimes not and those are the homes that had housed hoarders. My friend had cancer and passed and I moved away and no longer go to estate sales. But I do remember some really interesting situations. I cared for my mother in her home for 8 years. She was the opposite from a hoarder. The home was always spotless and she threw away so much it dismayed me. I had to grab things like letters and documents otherwise she would say who needs this old stuff and throw into the garbage. She is gone now. My niece lives with me and has adhd and three times I had to call for ambulance and they would go into her room and it was a disaster zone. Now she qualifies for home health care help, as she is disabled and I am 83 and she refuses to let me come in her room.

I can't stand when people assume a mess is from being lazy. My herniated vertebra in lower back and sciatic nerve problem has caused my left leg to go numb if at dining chair more than 15 minutes, I am afraid of falling in the shower & use a step stool to sit on, and even simple jobs like cooking is exhausting. So, at the age of 69, my daughter is moving me to a facility with meals prepared 3x/day. She thinks when I make friends, I will live longer. I was excited learning some hobbies, having to give up almost everything is depressing. Hopefully, I will be able to drink plenty during happy hour prior to dinner, while I focus on the issues of my husband poor memory and take care of issues related to all that. And he is a LOT on my own mental health, making life a daily survival and not joy dealing with his psychotic and neurotic and ADHD lifetime problems of 51 years now. (Which in reality, sucks the life out of me,). Wish me luck tomorrow , June 29, 2024.

You can wash the swiffer dusters! Put them in a mesh bag, and they come out clean. I do this with mine because I run a cleaning business. I've got my clients washing them, and they love saving the money!😊

Thank you for your understanding about the personal habits of people with mental illness or who are not neurotypical. The energy you put into the videos is a beautiful thing. And I know you are kidding when you call Jason “filth”. My autistic son had silly nicknames too that other people did not understand but we got it and it was a bonding experience.

For years i always said my son lives like a slob , i am opposite , so i would go over there and do a mom clean few days later same thing messy . I would get him to help but he gets distracted so easily .It’s not until i watched your videos and talking about ADHD that i understand him more .He is currently on medication for adhd and he said he feels so different and more energetic his brain can think better . He is in his 30’s and i understand now . Thank you for sharing your experiences.

My daughter has ADHD, and is in her 30s but we share a place. I stopped getting mad about the mess years ago and just started helping pick up, but you have to stay on top of it or it can get to be a lot. The only thing that really bothers me is the food, but we're working on a system for that. She works from home and I got a "bussing" bin like they use in restaurants. She can put any dishes, things that need to be thrown out or whatever there. I take it out every couple of days and empty it and that works. A covered trash can did not. It has to be seen, same as the clothes. If it's covered, she doesn't see it so it's "not there".
