great video! The accessory case being a static size is exactly why i didnt want to buy it. im never carrying the same amount of cables and extra bits every time. Having something more malleable like this is exactly what im looking for.

Just use 55hz to get rid of flickering because Europe has 50Hz electricity and the US has 60Hz, so if you use 55Hz it will eliminate flickering on both and still look like a 180-degree shutter angle.

Got one 2 years ago for 200 bucks. Then from thesame seller got teh laea4 aswell and a sony sony a mount 50mm 1.4 works really good. Its fast but the tracking is terrible. But works good enough for zoo animals.

It's difficult to get optimal results on virtual meetings. I've tried several options including an expensive speakerphone from Poly and Shure MV 7 with headphones. At the end of the journey I find that the Epos Impact 5000 gives the best results.

Sony has trained you with their aggressive move to spend hundreds on new batteries. I’ve had ZERO issues with the Newer batteries I bought and have used for several years up to this annoying upgrade trapping all on the battery status without warning. The only battery that DIED I have was the SONY battery that came with my FX3. And now apparently my Vmount batteries will not function properly either using a dummy battery on my cinema rig. What the F%}^CK Sony?? Write to support everyone and give them both barrels and don’t put your tail between your legs and go to the Honda route.

If you can replace the earpads on these without cursing you are a true audio professional.

You can achieve the same by using a long cable tie (tiewrap) to fix the plate instead of that U bolt. Yes that u bolt looks cooler but less doable for people less familiar with drilling. Great video, i will also do this.

Hi, Thinking of updating my sony a7iv firmware( currently it has 1.02v i think) But i have ravpower 3rd party batteries was afraid to update. -also I have issues on latest LRC 13 When I shoot in HEIC 4:2:2 Portrait photos, when I import it to lightroom or upload to google photos, the portrait photos are imported as landscape? Is this still a issue on the latest firmware update? I really need to know. Thanks

Hi Marcus, big fan of your channel here! Would you recommend Sennehesier MKE600 over Rode NTG for on camera mic? Mke600 has XLR end but comes with XLR to TRS cable whereas, NTG is TRS to TRS. From your video and my research here, it seems to me that it is always safer and better to go from TRS of mic to XLR of camera or recorder with transformer adapter (to reduce power from 48v to 1-4v if required) than to go from XLR to TRS. I am looking for on camera and off camera solution but pretty torn with budget. I am at the point where I either buy one good all in one solution XLR mic (Semnheiser MKE 600) with bit of trade off or buy two cheap mic, one with XLR (used Rode NTG2) and another with TRs (Videomic GOii)

Thumb bolts. Bolts have threads that go into bores with matching threads, etc while screws are self-tapping and have only a fine or course thread with no real thread size

Shock cord can be used to excellent effect if raising and lowering tripod post to different heights. Shock line is like a bungee rope you can get in bulk and cut to length, just thought I would mention that also.
