Never boxed have you son ? That is ONE SIMPLE FACT. Yes you can generate more power punching up, but that is all things equal. When an opponent has a 4 or 5 inch reach advantage and knows how to use it, to keep the other fighter at the end of the jab, then you can't land anything punching up or down. Usyk is good at movement, and slipping to close the gap and counter. Is he going to be able to do that constantly for 12 rounds, without getting tagged by Fury's clever jab ? No. He isn't. Usyk might be hitting harder than he ever has, but he still doesn't hit as hard as many of the natural heavyweights that Fury has already faced, been hit by, and beaten. If Fury can get up and win, after being floored by Wilders bombs, then how the hell is Usyk going to KO him ? The only heavyweight Usyk has knocked out, was a turnip called tony bellend bellew, who came back down to cruiserweight after being at heavyweight, and was weak and weight drained himself.

A/ Usyks had limited fights at HW and had he stepped on the gas at times could have KOd AJ...his amateur background kicked in and he was happy to take a risk free points win. B/ You underestimate Usyks skill and agility ; yes HE WILL be able to get in and out and the biggest point of all is his stamina. He can keep up 90-100 punches per round for 12 ; can Fury? No , not even close. Easy points win for Usyk and who knows ; if Furys tired enough maybe a late stoppage@@DjNikGnashers

Still, if you are advanced in watching boxing, you can see that his skills, versatility and ring IQ will put him in the convo even if there's no greats for him to fight in my opinion. But I see your point, maybe him and Inoue being the best in this era doesn't qualify them for honorable mentions.

Fury nullified Klitschko - evident in almost every moment in that fight. AJ is far inferior in terms of ability so their fight was far more open. This is what people don't realise, Klitschko wasn't poor, Fury made him look poor.

@stuarthall2154 MY oldest brother started training me how to defend myself since I was 8 years old.. Started fighting since Elementary through. Middle school and HIGH SCHOOL. I never started a fight just finished it. JOIN THE MILITARY and kept training myself. Ended up in Germany 🇩🇪!!. I'm only 5,8 and black soldiers bigger than me though I would back down and when I prepared myself they just walked away!!.

If size would be a problem then Mike Tyson should have lost all of his fights. He was always smaller than any of his opponents and bowled them over one after another. Usyk doesn't have Mike's power but he has the boxing skill which Fury hasn't got.
