I have been using a paper planner for the past 4 years. My biggest weakness was buying stickers. I have like 10 books. Now that I have found a happy planner that I like I have been using the stickers. I also use them for journaling. So surprised to hear that teaching is stressful in Canada. Journaling and do things outside of school keep me going. I like how you write out a Bible verse.

I immediately feel calmer upon the commencement of your video . Thank you. Only recently gotten into consistent journaling notebook use mostly for getting etter organised . Your vied realy helped . I am in Australia stuff is just getting more and more expensive here too .

I am doing well

I'm always late to the party, but I just ran across your video. This topic resonated so much with me. I've purchased planners and for one reason or another, they didn't work for me. I ended up grabbing a notebook and putting together my own layouts, using the best ideas from each planner that actually worked for my needs. I found several HP sticker books at my local thrift store. Most of them were unused, so I scored in that purchase. Still, I found I didn't gravitate to most of the stickers. I have discovered that I like to doodle and I decorate my homemade planner that way. Crayola colored pencils and a couple of pens and I'm in business. I'm glad for the people that find joy in their HP or EC's or whatever planner they find. I'm just thankful that I made my discovery of what really works for me, before I spent more money chasing my elusive planner dream. Thanks for sharing this topic with us. (Judy Vanderploeg)

I really like how you did a page a day and didn't try to put a million things in one day. I think I try to put too many tasks to accomplish and need to stick to not more than 5/day to keep from being discouraged and moving so many things to the next day. The addition of color makes it funs too. We just came back from Aruba and I'm headed into a busy budgeting season at work that goes straight through Labor day weekend. I'm taking it easy getting back into the groove as I was really stressed before I left. I'm trying to remember to have fun this summer with the kids and not overwork too much because before you know it the kids will be going back to school. Thanks for all your great videos and your voice is so calming too.

Hey Cat! We sold our house and are now living in a very small space while we decide whether to buy or build. I miss my desk so I have set up my nightstand as a makeshift desk. Also doing a lot of running outside on trails and doing some exploring that way. Of course being heat wave season, I am currently hiding with my dog in front of a fan. Stay cool, Cat!

I feel you about the grad school grind as that was me last summer. I promise it will be worth it in the end. Since I graduated from grad school in December, I have actually been able to enjoy this summer. We just got back from a weeklong motorcycle trip and now I’m trying to get my chores and things in order that I need to do for the rest of this summer. I’m enjoying the slower pace and loving watching your videos as always.

I clicked on this video so fast really got into the planner community during the pandemic, but have always been a stationary girly. And I got all the things planners and different sizes covers stickers, washy, tape, pens, highlighters subscription boxes. After about a year started to find my way and purge and sell most of what I had bought. This is an important discussion.

I'm so grateful you ask how we are doing. I'm struggling, my mom had gallbladder surgery on the 4th of July and she's my only living parent so it was a stressful time. She's doing doing good now so I'm trying to relax and your videos are so relaxing ❤

I'm not sure where the one planner comes from, but I know that the guy who created the Bullet Journal method did so because he was looking to consolidate the 3-4 he was using at the time. So, I do the one planner in the sense that I use Bullet Journalling.... But maybe I don't because I also have 2 other separate books one is a diary for innermost thoughts that don't need to be in a planner and the other one is mostly for financial notes and calculations.

I don’t have any plans for this summer yet, but who knows what this season will bring! My town does do a festival for our river and stuff, that’s a fun time! My one book is still my hobonichi weeks, I’m loving it so much! I did change it from a hobonichi size cover into a travelers notebook cover and now I get to carry a little journal with it and I love that so much!!😆 I’m definitely excited to follow your one book July journey! Hi, Cat! I am doing well, thank you for asking! I am in one planner all the time and this year is a plain old notebook. I'm one of those people who is overwhelmed by multiple planners. This summer I'm taking a couple of short trips. First, to see my sister in late July. Next, with a good friend in early August. We're doing a good, old-fashioned 4 day car trip from here in Austin north to Waco and east to Palestine here in Texas. There are several things we'll do and the best is a 4 hour trip aboard the Texas State Railroad from Palestine to Rusk, Texas and visiting all the Magnolia stuff in Waco. We're really looking forward to the trip! I hope your Summer is a great time for you, Cat!
