Hi nice Design. I testet this in creative and i have abproblem and i dont know what causes the Problem. i sorted a doublechest wich was perfekt but then wenn i inport a shulker full of cobble the indecator for sorting ist on and then cobble ist Missing where can i find IT and is there a way so fix this Problem?

Thought this was click bait. I saw this running and instantly changed my opinion. Thanks for actually blowing my mind instead of saying something like “I built the fastest storage system” then it’s literally just a hopper speed multi-item sorter or something like that.

Wizardry, truly wizardry I am a novice redstoner designing my own game, I thought I could figure this out, but the last few were beyond my mortal brain.

Great video! I've been looking into Storage systems for my technical singleplayer world but its been a pain to find the perfect one, while also making sure they work on singleplayer, or if they break if i close the world while is running, which i imagine is the case on most if not all big storage systems. This version has really caught my attention and i might look into building this, some questions i have, asides from the whole breaking thing i mentioned: Are the whitelisters limited to 54 items per hall? In that case, I imagine adding extra whitelisters that point into already assigned halls wouldnt be an issue? Is there a "general switch" that can turn off the storage system? for example, if i have a big amount of items to sort but halfway through i want to stop the process to close my world and continue the next day?

Totally new player here.. I am looking to build this in my survival. I have the items and I know the tutorial is for column a and b but I don't understand how to build the unsorted-overflow and trash part. I am guessing its either very simple to build for more experienced players on their own or I missed something. can someone point me to the right direction?

What do the pufferfish do? I've been trying to understand how all the parts of this thing work so i can get better with redstone.

by far the coolest thing i've seen in this year.

At the 7:00 mark, you said that you need to keep the shulker boxes filled manually. Could you not attach a small shulker farm to it, using crafters, to automatically refill the chest once it detects that one of the areas is empty? That way, you wouldn't have to refill them at all. You could fill a single double chest with chests for the crafters and that would likely be enough for eternity

Why don't you detect the softlocked slice at 6:50 and just check if there are shulkers in chest and if not deactivate the slice and store items somewhere in kinda hidden overflow that will be cleaned as soon as there are shulkers in chest again and then reset the slice and sort overflow back into slice? Ig that would be better than to have the player need to see the light being off and stop system and fill up (what he has to do in V2 too but just not reset or stuff, so there is a general lamp "refill shulkers in Hall 1" or something and then after that's done it automatically resets and fixes itself).

i dont understand the chunk loading. theres 6 portals at the overworld side but only 1 in the nether. and you use the pumpkins going through to chunkload. do you dupe them pumpkins or how does it work turning the pumpkins back to each chunkloader so it doesnt run out of storage?

Ah, I'm currently already building a custom config of CartMIS 2 with an unstackable sorter included on my SMP. I have already built everything but the actual MIS slices. Are those new MIS slices a lot more time efficient than the previous ones? I have 144 slices planned and one complete run through of all slices does take over 7 minutes. I might think about switching those out against the new ones if those are much better

When can you leave the world?

Just been crawling around my storage (lummie thief one) putting new 1.21 items in, so when I saw the accessible items 😍 Also love the pre-sorting into different wings. Mine is laid out that way, but carts take the whole journey round. If you can mix and match slices (bulk and multi) then I'll be very tempted to switch.

The Cart MIS has been my favorite storage tech for a long time now. Awesome to see it being updated and improved all the time.

Hey i tried connecting the stacks separator to 1 set of 8gt stack sorters, however sometimes the left 8gt sorters would block some stacks and then clog (piston budding infinitly), and cant find why. It's a bit sad cause i can use mixed shulker loaders and separate one item type, would be great

is there a spesific way to build this farm? i used litematic and paste in to my world. looking at east. 3 or 4 th time, minecarts get bug.
